With the lone exception of the instance when Kamala criticized Biden on busing - and that move backfired on her in the longer term . Political junkies get excited about them .. In the real world, few seem to care about who won or lost ..

The are way points and confirmations. Indeed very important for Bernie after the attack coming into them looking good and preforming well in a relaxed manner. A bad show could have really hurt him.

The same is true for all the candidates. A confirmation of even she is my second choice or he is my third is important.

And they reinforce that the frontrunners are strong. Or that Biden's strength is deeper than one kind of medium.
