...unless you're prepared to say that John Delaney is as likely to win as Joe Biden simply because nobody's voted yet, you have to accept at least the broad outline of what available data tells you. Yang's has shown only about 2% growth in national polling in the last six months, and his State-level support isn't any better (reminder: there's a 15% threshold in State voting to be eligible for Delegates). An abrupt change in trajectory in time for IA/NH/NV/SC/Super Tuesday is highly unlikely.

Despite the fact that he was a member of Congress.

Yang went from being a random guy to outlasting senators, governors, etc.

The only campaigns with more individual donors are Sanders, Warren, and Buttigieg. Also people who started the race with established careers in politics.

What Yang has already accomplished is nothing to be dismissed lightly. We'll see what happens from here.
