like Craig Hall, of Hall Rutherford Wine Cave fame, file for Bankruptcy the day after being sued for misconduct, then later get his wife appointed Ambassador to Austria?

....and none of them should criticize others' fundraising efforts.

The only reason I posted this is that she went off on Buttigieg's "wine cave" fundraiser, perhaps forgetting that she too was involved in lavish fundraisers.

I just wish they would all let it go and go about their own business of fundraising.

Doesn't matter how they raise their money right? Personally, I didn't like Citizens United and I want to know how campaigns are funded. Obviously you don't care, for obvious reasons. Criticizing how others raise money is eithe rvlaid when it comes to ALL candidates, not just repubs, or it isn't. What is hypocritical is to take on repubs over the issue while saying it's worng for Dems. Money influences politics, and ot say it doesn't is either willfull ignorance or naievete, or thinking it's a good idea.

I look at what candidates are doing now. And that comparison makes her look a world better than Pete or Biden when it comes to who is funding their campaign.

I wish she never would have gone down this Sanders road..

Cory Booker didn't like Warren's "wine cave" attack on Buttigieg

Therein lies the risk that Booker identifies for the Democrats, that not only is very little gained from this line of attack, it also might embitter voters toward other candidates who fail the test. And as Independent Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders demonstrated Thursday night, that risk extends to Warren.

Seconds after Warren and Pete finished up, Sanders swooped in to boast that he is “the only candidate up here that doesn’t have any billionaire contributions,” which includes Warren. Her current presidential campaign, not her old pre-pledge Senate campaign, has accepted donations at or near the $2800 individual contribution limit from at least six billionaires.

It bothers me more that some of our candidates are bashing others for the way they run their fundraising. The reason I posted this is to show that the criticism on Thursday night was off the mark.

It takes a lot of money to run for president. It's not possible to do it without contributions from wealthy people. If we don't like that, we need to elect more Democrats so they can change campaign laws.

house seats and the senate majority and of course the presidency. We live in the age of United until we manage to get an amendment passed to the constitution, we are stuck with it...it was a constitutional based ruling...not willing to handicap our folks for the purists who apparently are fine with losing. Too bad the left, greens didn't feel they could support Gore in 2000...which helped elect Bush who's SCOTUS picks gave us United...but now we are stuck with it.

When she was able to run for the White House on terms that fit her political aims, she went for it. This was EARNED, my friend.
