Bernie Sanders's polling surge forces Democratic establishment to admit he can win: report

Alternet

Sen. Bernie Sanders’ recent surge in national and early-state polls, enthusiastic progressive base, and resilience in the aftermath of his heart attack have reportedly forced some within the Democratic establishment who were previously dismissive of the Vermont senator to concede—both in private and in public—that he could ultimately run away with the party’s presidential nomination.

“For months the Vermont senator was written off by Democratic Party insiders as a candidate with a committed but ultimately narrow base who was too far left to win the primary,” Politico reported Thursday. “But in the past few weeks, something has changed. In private conversations and on social media, Democratic officials, political operatives, and pundits are reconsidering Sanders’ chances.”

There are plenty of roads with a middle lane. Just because you don't appreciate moderates doesn't mean that we don't exist or that we don't contribute value to the Democratic Party.

like Joe Scarborough think the only way that Trump loses is against Biden or another supposed “moderate”.
What they are actually saying or implying is:
“Hey Dems, if you don’t pick a moderate nominee like we are telling you to do, we will stay home or vote for Trump”.
Because they are NOT Never Trumpers.
They are SOMETIMES Trumpers if it’s against either Sanders or Warren.
They think 🤔 their taxes would go up (and they would a little) back to levels that are fair and make sense under a true progressive.
And Their money “trumps” their hatred of Donald.

... but we have to win over some trumphumpers and not sure that particular path is going to do it. And if trump wins, 'NO ONE GETS NOTHING!' Nada..zip..and all the kids will stay caged and the rich get richer and we lose all our rights a bit at a time and Stephen Miller will cont to run the country along side Putin next to trump.

So Im not wasting my vote on ideology..i have ONE vote and i need/plan/will to use it for reality.
