I try my best not to spend my time attacking Democratic candidates I am not currently supporting..

I am very proud of who I have chosen to support, and happily post his good news.

Your sentence is very ambiguous. The awkward wording makes it almost sound as though you're trying to tell us that instead you only attack the candidate you are currently supporting.

Some have no consideration for the tenor and camaraderie of the general DU community, just want to get in every possible acrimonious word they can to tear down another’s candidate. Good that you’re not part of that frenzy, reflects far better on your candidate.

if when we get to the General Election, the Democratic candidate could stand next to Donald Trump and say

"I got my party's nomination without attacking any of my opponents. I didn't disparage them or anyone else. I wasn't up at the crack of dawn making nasty remarks on social media. That is what this country needs: someone who is reasonable and thoughtful about their words and actions. It is the only way we will Make America America Again."
