1. I will vote for Bloomberg in a heartbeat if he someohow wins the nomination.

And, unlike others, I welcome his entry in the primary with open arms.

2. The ads are well done, he has my vote if nominated.

I met him in the 90s, a business event at a DC museum, nice conversation.

4. My primary objection to BBG was his illegal search and seizure policy.

It’s hard to overcome that, but I would vote for him immediately against fuckface.

He does have some legitimately good policies and big government experience. His open office management style is good actually - there is a video he put out about that. I’m used to that style being in finance on trading floors.

6. I heard about these ads and wanted to see them. There are issues

with Bloomberg's record on stop & frisk, not being in favor of increasing the minimum wage and more, but I'll support him if comes to that.

7. Bloomberg's love for Stop And Frisk means I'll never vote for him to be the nominee.

I'd vote for Bloomberg over Trump if he were the nominee, but that is basically damning with faint praise. I'd vote for a stuffed animal over Trump.

13. Biden's support for the 94 Crime Bill was okay?

Bloomberg has acknowledged his mistake.

14. The 1994 crime bill was supported by a majority of Americans...

including a majority of Black Americans. By the end of Clinton's term, crime had dropped dramatically.

Were there problems? There definitely were, but the problems had more to do with the interaction between the 1994 crime bill and ridiculous drug laws that already existed. Reagan and Bush I, by pushing the "war on drugs", pushed arrests rather than treatment for drug users, so some of the worst situations that happened after the 1994 crime bill was passed happened because someone would be convicted on three drug charges--where those three charges might be simple possession. This is why many states eventually decriminalized marijuana because, at one point, about 70% of the people in prison were there for breaking drug laws--and many of those crimes were simple possesion. This made prisons overcrowded, so often violent criminals were being released due to overcrowding. It wasn't the 1994 crime bill that was the problem..it was the 1994 crime bill in conjunction with ridiculous existing laws like marijuana possession laws.

8. Ad agencies haven't lost their touch

it's more important what's not said and not addressed than what is. I'm sure he can tweak capitalism via tax changes and policies. What about our damaged government at home and abroad? Recommitting to rule of law, plugging holes that Trump exploited? I think we need an experienced politician rather than an experienced businessman. Could he do what Speaker Pelosi has done?

Right now he seems to be locked out. I don’t see it getting better after IA and NH.

different times I guess. FWIW Warren was a Republican until the 90s, and Trump was a Democrat for a while maybe.
