Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumDonating to the DNC a good idea?
If I want to make sure my donation goes to the eventual nominee, to beat Trump, would the best way be to donate to the Democratic National Committee rather than my candidate of choice? Because they will be helping to fund that person in the general election. Am I correct? Would they be able to use it for preparations even during the primary season?

(94,716 posts)The candidates are focusing their attention (and spending) in States important to the Primary process. The DNC is focusing on States that will be important to the General Election (WI/MI/PA/FL/AZ etc).
