Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumChuck Todd said something intelligent for once.
Katy Tur reported that Trump is going to Des Moines on Thursday and is expected to have a crowd of 5,000. She went on to say the Democratic candidates are getting 1,000 so what does that say about November? Todd shot back "Well, when they have one nominee they will get 5,000 people."
Katy is smarter than saying something silly like that.

(58,785 posts)to defeat Democrats in 2016. You may not have heard her because it happened in the GE, after she was taken off following Trump around and assigned to sub for conservative afternoon hosts like Mitchell and Todd. I told my husband the overdone virulence in her voice when she spoke of Hillary sounded like she was still auditioning, to show top management she'd come through for them.
I don't watch her show. But an implication against Democrats that has to be corrected by a newly somewhat-come-to-Jesus conservative Check Todd sounds like what I believe MSNBC hired her for. Listen for other tilts of coverage against Democrats and see if you don't find them.

Supporters who aren't cultists aren't likely to feel as much need to be in a mob of people who think exactly like they do and are very noisy about it.

(10,014 posts)The Dems have been getting 100- 5,000 at their events and rallies for MONTHS in Iowa.
Besides, votes count, not crowd size.
