Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumAmy has done what nobody else has, incorporated the HOW.
After watching the CNN town halls, it has become very clear to me I made the right choice in who I am supporting.
It is very clear she has thought the whole thing out not just the what but how to get it done and the how that meshes with the other. If that did work then we do this that leads to that the gives us what we wanted,
It is a beautiful web that is not composed of a peoples army or logical persuasion or moral persuasion or some return to a golden past of cooperation. Just normal self-interest. The real world in other words. Basically she is offering to be LBJ without the war.

(40 posts)Back during the Kavanaugh hearings I knew Amy Klobuchar was who I wanted to be President, but...
In 2016, I did not vote. As you can see I'm for either Sanders or Warren now. A centrist candidate who is unable to deliver to the blue collar working class in America will result in a surge of right-wing populism more so then what we are seeing now.
I encourage all DUers to consider history, both recent and past. Now is not the time for the status quo. Look at Macron in France or the failed Syriza Government in Greece. Even Obama voters who voted for Trump in 2016 should be a case study as to the dangers of not protecting work class Americans.
We will have another economic downturn, this is just the way our economy is structured. If the left doesn't put up a candidate who will enact progressive policys that protect Joe and Jane six-pack during the next down turn, we will truly see fascist in the streets.
so my question is, what policies is Amy offering to protect Main Street and not just Wall Street?

(40 posts)I like Yang also and apologize to the Yang Gang for not adding him to the list. of the three (Sanders; Warren; & Yang) I think Yang's solutions to many of our issue are accessible to a wide range of voters. He isn't as "toxic" as say Sanders or Warren concerning the dirty S word....
that is my point too, that voting in a center candidate will be a disaster on many fronts.
