How come black leaders are now saying...

they're supporting Boomberg?

Congressional Black caucus spokesman, Gregory Meeks, was just on Chris Matthews saying this. Joy Reid has said this. Jason Johnson, political editor of The Root, has said this. They are reporting that PoC are moving to support Bloomberg.

Yet we DUers will feel we cannot "dirty" ourselves with Bloomberg; we hate billionaires and cannot accept Bloomberg's reasoning, apology, or offer of help.

with personailty disorders coagulating instead of real leadership at the top. A real leader should make each american better inside themselves and in their actions, not better off by debasing some 'other'. African Americans know what that movie looks like because it wasn't a movie for them. They've been in vulnerable positions to certain types of sadistic people over the last 5 centuries as sadists are attracked to those who are perceived to be in a weak position.

11. Biden's support is dropping while Bloomberg's is growing
Wed Feb 12, 2020, 09:22 PM
Feb 2020

"The poll asked Democratic respondents and those who lean-Democratic for whom they would vote if the Democratic presidential primary were held that day. In the most recent iteration of the poll, 27 percent of African Americans who responded to this question answered that Biden would be their first choice. While that percentage revealed that Biden is still the top choice for black voters, it reflects a steep drop in support.

In the previous national Quinnipiac poll, whose results were released on January 28, a full 49 percent of black respondents said he would be their first choice to represent the Democrats in the general election against President Donald Trump. Thus, as Mitchell said, there was a 22 percent drop in support for Biden among African Americans in a month.

As Mitchell said, support for billionaire businessman and former New York Mayor Bloomberg among African Americans has increased sharply, from just 7 percent in January's Quinnipiac poll to 22 percent in the one released Tuesday. That puts Bloomberg—who has received criticism in the past for his stop-and-frisk policy, which some say unfairly targeted blacks—second in African American support behind Biden."

Bloomberg is a self-made billionaire, I admire that. Mark Cuban is a self-made billionaire, why would that not be admired?

trump is not a billionaire, he is just a bag of crap, a horrible person, but even if he was a billionaire I would not associate my dislike for him to his money. I think that once the con is out of office that whatever money he owes will bring him to total ruin.

Anyway, I feel that many groups are in for the WIN, and they are not vetting very carefully who they support, it seems to be more now who they feel can beat the creature and throw him our of office.

Over 1 million people have died during Sanders 30 years in Washington. Gun violence takes a horrid toll in a lot of Black communities. Why do you think Bloomberg trying to prevent that violence is worst than Sanders effectively voting to make it possible?

Bloomberg to be victims of gun violence. It is simply a pragmatic choice for them, they are willing to ignore some things to prevent a greater evil.

50. I believe that there are several underlying reasons.
Thu Feb 13, 2020, 12:08 AM
Feb 2020

First, Bloomberg completely strips the claim of success from Trump. Bloomberg is a true self-made billionaire, Trump is a liar about his wealth.

Second, Bloomberg is a highly experienced financier that started up the top finance news source in the world. He can call bullshit on Trump's claims about the economy and have people set up and listen.

Third, Bloomberg has shown that he is willing to take the gloves off to contest Trump and other republicans running for office.

Lastly, Bloomberg has political experience and got things done in a very tough, diverse city of 8 million people, so Blacks can anticipate that he will be more up for the job of President than Trump has shown he is.

primary today, I would vote for:

I still hate the idea of him buying this entire election, but I hate Trump more. I'm just worried voter turnout will plummet with someone like him as the candidate. We can say goodbye to the 18-35 yeah old vote imo.

I am more worried about the African Anerican vote. If that vote in enthusiastic for Bloomberg, we are in good shape up and down the ticket. The AA vote underperformed for Hillary in key states like Florida, Michigan and Pennsylvania, it was not the lack of youth vote that caused Hillary to lose those states, it was lack of AA vote in the big cities.
