Women that knew each other.
That is an accurate accounting of to this point coincidental but factual events.
Facts are not conspiratorial.

(49,381 posts)for Joe to get into a feud with the "guilty party". He well remembers the Howard Dean/Dick Gephardt feud during the 2004 Dem primaries.
John Kerry became the beneficiary of that ugly bash between Howie and Dick,by grabbing the nomination.

(15,265 posts)This story has evolved and he has released a statement. Here is one of a number of recent opinion articles on it that bring up some points
https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/04/01/joe-biden-doesnt-get-it/
Most if us here have lived and worked for decades and some may be retired. We have our own experiences. I'm 59. In all my years of going to school, going to church activities, attending CCD, playing sports, raising my daughters. working etc I have I have never encountered someone who habitually makes unsolicited physical contact with people. In fact i don't recall anyone who did it infrequently. I coached girls soccer for a dozen years and I taught a Sunday school class for two years and I've worked for more then 4 decades and haven't seen it.
Of course Joe Biden is a politican and politicians are different. It is their job to schmooze with people. I get that. I also get that some people get very enamored with politicians. They are like rock stars to some people. However I can fully understand that a young women at a politic event who the Vice President of the country has graciously attended to promote her might be freaked out when he walked up behind her put his hand on hrr shoulders leaned in put his nose in her hair and then kissed her on the head.
What was she supposed to do ? She has orobably killed her own political future by coming forward 5 years later. You can see a level of shock or uncomfortableness in the faces of some of the girls in some of these situations. It sounds he was friends with the family. knew the girls etc. No one is suggesting a sexual motive. However what do you expect them to say ?
