Still Voting Blue No Matter Who in November.
Hugs to all the Bernie people. Hope you're still on Team Blue in November too.

I'm taking another look at Liz, especially if Joe doesn't make it. Which brings me to my next point The Michigan primary is March 10. I would caution anyone who is physically fit to not resort to mail in ballots. What if you mail in your choice and he/se drops out before your state comes up? I can understand it if you always face long lines at your poll place but if you don't, (we usually have more workers than voters, although we are retired so we can go whenever we want to during the day, or if you're physically unable or just really old (I'm 68) but otherwise, vote in person. Before they changed our voting place, we used to walk the dogs and one of us would go in while the other waiting and vice versa. Now it's a bit farther so we drive. Of course the weather in Michigan is what it is, but still, I feel better knowing that when I do go it will be the candidates that are still running. Just a thought. Plus, since Michigan made us a "no excuse" state for mail in ballots (which is great) there has been a 70% increase in mail in ballots and the clerks and now saying it could be an extra day before we get the results and of course the repubs in the state legislature won't do anything about it.

(15,540 posts)She's not dropping out and March 10th isn't that far away. I'll be dropping mine off at the clerk's office on Monday. I'll also be tracking my ballot online. If it takes them longer to count ballots because it's a huge turnout then so be it.
I believe more people will vote if they can vote by mail.

(14,024 posts)Thought I'd remain so until the general election, but in reviewing my thoughts and feelings - Sen. Warren is the person I most want as the President.
Feels good.

(149,631 posts)I like the fact that it reminded us of her beginnings in politics and her history as a Senator. It's easy to lose sight of those in these hectic days.
She's my second choice after Pete.
