Could Warren end up as the compromise candidate?

Is there any chance that after Super Tuesday that there are only three viable candidates remaining: Sanders, Biden & Warren.
If so, could Warren hit the sweet spot between them as a bridge to the progressive and moderate wings? Or is she considered too progressive to lure enough moderates?

I’ve heard from some progressives that they like Bernie’s policies a little more but that they like Warrens personality more and think she could get more things done in Congress especially since she favors encouraging a Dem Senate to dump the filibuster.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I'm sure he would have been a perfectly good VP, but what did he bring to the ticket? He generated no excitement, He didn't (AFAIK) help carry any states... I feel that, from an election perspective, the best you could say about him is that he was a safe choice who would do no damage, and I think for Hillary, maybe that was sufficient.

If there are three coming out of Super Tuesday, my guess (just from current polling) is that they will be Bernie, Biden, and Bloomberg. Of course, anything is possible — the polling isn’t all that extensive and there are at least two wildcards: how does Biden do in SC? and how much did Bloomberg’s debate performances undercut him?

But there’s another reason I’m skeptical: I actually don’t think the Democratic electorate is as divided as one might suppose from reading DU. A lot of Biden supporters have Bernie as their number two. A lot of Bernie supporters have Biden as their number two. Which is to say: a lot of primary voters are not as ideologically consistent as posters here are. They’re not really voting as progressives or moderates, or on the basis of idealism vs pragmatism. I imagine some people are judging candidates on entirely different metrics: Bernie, while gruff, is authentic; Biden is kind; Warren and Buttigieg are smart; Bloomberg is competent and efficient. By those metrics, we don’t really need a compromise candidate because a lot of people will be satisfied with whoever gets the nomination.

She's a good middle ground between the left and the middle and she has some great plans. She's also the only candidate who flat out said she'd setup the DoJ to allow prosecutors to investigate and prosecute the entire Trump admin for their endless crimes.

But sadly Warren doesn't seem to be doing well, and she polls poorly against Trump.

Why would the party’s “compromise” pick be the candidate who is at best in 4th place? The Venn Diagram of her and Bernie is basically a single circle with the only differences being she’s female and doesn’t give the “old man yelling at clouds” vibe. Merely the fact that “she isn’t Bernie” isn’t a compromise and offers zero concession to the moderate wing (and mutual concessions are the whole point of a compromise).

If she can’t win any Super Tuesday states?

Let’s be realistic people. After Tuesday, your choices are Sanders or Biden. Bloomberg May win a state, but he seems to be fading. Warren is currently losing her home state. Amy will win Minnesota, but that’s likely it for her. Pete has no state where he is leading either.

We are not going to compromise on a candidate who finishes with little delegates. That’s Warren, Pete and Amy. Bloomberg can stay in but his money no longer seems as imposing as it once was.

three contests. We shall see how she does in S.C. and on Super Tuesday. But if her electoral fortunes do not improve I think we would be better off looking elsewhere for a compromise candidate if it comes to that. I heard on Morning Joe the other day that there are whispers about another well known Democratic woman who could be a compromise candidate if the convention becomes hopelessly deadlocked over the current candidates. And you better believe that if offered Hillary would accept the nomination.
