Is the Fidel Castro lovefest finally hurting Bernie?

Seems to me that 60 Minutes interview might've been this worst mistake thus far in his campaign. He could've done without that interview. I think it's scared the Democrats into action and support Joe. We'll see how it goes on Tuesday. I think we all dread a campaign in the fall with talk of communism, the Soviet Union, and Castro love. We need to keep the election about Trump, not whether we should praise Fidel or not.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

What "rape/child sex fantasy"?

He wrote one essay 40 years ago describing some sort of rape fantasy that did NOT concern a child..Claims to the contrary need this thing called a "link"...Without it, your accusation is slander.

I'm not familiar with this so-called essay situation, but child in the essay or not I'm very concerned. You can bet I'll be searching for it now. If it's true, it's a very disturbing revelation.

Sanders obviously tried to get people to read his earnest young bachelor's wisdom on male-female relationships by opening with a bit about women's rape fantasies. This last was actually a typical whiff of the Second Wave/sexual revolution times and reaction to them; like the idea of bra burning, a tantalizing notion that got chortled over for a while.

Btw, when I read it, I felt the rest of the leaden piece provided a complete explanation for the need for a titillating something that would keep people from tossing it after the first paragraph. It really changes character after he dumps the theme of the intro and moves on to imparting his insights and advice to couples. It's been years since I read it, but I remember a pivot in focus so noticeable and complete that it gave the impression that the intro may have been tacked on afterward.
