Tim O'Brien Promises 'Scorched Earth' Attacks On Trump Family Corruption

Bloomberg campaign adviser Tim O’Brien hinted the former candidate will put big money toward hammering the Trump family corruption “unlike anything they’ve experienced thus far in the media.

O’BRIEN: I think it’s an important moment for the American people to be woke about how rampant the financial conflicts of interest are among Trump’s children and the president himself. They’re an absolute failure to distance themselves from the Trump organization and all the deals they’ve continued to pursue while in the White House, whether it’s the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C.; 666 Fifth Avenue, which has a long and ugly history with Jared and the Chinese government; and Jared and the Russian government; and Jared and his family’s struggling finances at the time – all of this stuff will become, I think, food for thought for everyone.

Trump's corrupt ties go well beyond his own family. She cited the family of Trump cabinet member Elaine Chao (aka Mrs. Mitch McConnell), Rudy Giuliani’s family, Newt Gingrich’s wife, Wilbur Ross, Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos, Attorney General William Barr’s son-in-law, Eric Trump’s brother-in-law - all of whom have profited from having Trump in the White House.

“unlike anything they’ve experienced thus far in the media.

Reminds me of this:

"They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen," he told reporters. "He has been very threatening -- beyond a normal statement," Mr. Trump said of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. "As I said, they will be met with fire, fury and frankly power the likes of which this world has never seen before."

we have to remember. Trump benefits himself before he'd allow anyone else to benefit. When will we see his "take" from this position? I would be interested in knowing the kickbacks he's received from foreign countries, as well as his "projects" like that damned Wall. How much of that money actually reached it and how much was kicked back to Trump? He doesn't care about those getting over the border, his attention is elsewhere. How much from his hotels? Golf courses?

Trump has to be one of the biggest con men of history and we have him in the Oval Office.

has their anti-Trump dumpTrump strategy. In 2016 we had none. Sounded like only HRC was warning us. Now, the world knows.

If Trump's 2016 was how far he plumbed JohnBirch-type networks in small ethnic cities in rural America, how high we go in this election knowing what we know and how hard we know how to push it?

If every strategy peels off .1% from Trump's 2016, he's just about cooked. There is no defense of Trump, believable or otherwise. There's just rabble-rousing the fascists and racists in his base, and cheating on his behalf by unquantifiable actors.

But it does seem to me we have a distinct quality and quantitative advantage.

and he might not. The Wall St. transaction tax is an idea whose time has come, although Biden is less likely to pursue it than Warren was. If the Senate changes hands, she still might be able to get it through and I doubt Bloomberg will be able to stop it.

There will likely be sweetheart riders on unrelated bills to give him some protection.

Romney and this Burisma silliness will backfire. It's like hate chants, repeated to reinforce the base's belief in the "evil" of "Demoncrats."

Bloomberg's ad campaign can blow out 45's history of total fabrication, and he'll peel off votes in the General.

I hope his people produce longer than 30 second ads, though.
