That's when Sanders ramped up the negativity and resumed assertively attacking the party.

That's probably not the only factor, but I think it's a significant one. I am a bit surprised at the size of the swing. The improvement on Biden's side bodes well for the campaign going forward.

I reflexively turn the tv when Trump is on and realized the other day that I've started doing that with Bernie, too. The whining, perpetual victimhood and the non-stop airing of the grievances is really getting annoying.

That's huge. The more negative Bernie supporters are really damaging his status among voters. It's pretty sad considering Bernie did enjoy a decent amount of good will from the general public.

I don't think Warren, Buttigieg, Klobuchar, Harris, etc etc should be humiliated. do you?

Still eager to hear from more voters in primaries but yes, it does look like Biden may well be our nominee. I can work with that, if that's where we end up.

None of those three never bragged about their invincibility like Bernie did. https://www.newsweek.com/bernie-sanders-faces-backlash-saying-neither-republican-nor-democratic-establishment-can-stop-him-1488599

Bernie got way too full of himself going into Nevada. Pride before the fall...

Coronavirus is wrecking Trump. The markets are in free-fall, that's going to wreck him also. Cheaper gas might be welcome in the summer, but if these two things are sustained, job losses will start to mount and be a thing in the fall.

If Joe's net favorability rating is 50+ through the summer, he wins the GE against Trump. Obviously that means whatever happens with the coronavirus and whatever's spooking oil from now until then.

Actually any crisis that Trump has to handle badly between now and then is only a drag on his numbers and a boost for Joe or whomever is Trump's competition.
