The GOP runs campaigns based on slogans.

In contrast, the Democrats run on actual plans.

Slogans are simple, lacking any nuance, and most importantly, slogans lack any details that can be examined or discussed. After all, who can argue with a slogan like "make America great again"? But the US media always accepts the GOP slogans at face value, and rarely points out that a slogan is not a plan.

And the problem is that the US corporate media rarely points out that the GOP has no real plans for dealing with anything except for their tax cut plan for the very rich.

We are still waiting for the GOP health plan, among many other empty promises, but the media ignores that.

Mr. Steyer and Mr. Bloomberg, focus on funding media that will actually do the job of the media, which is to not uncritically accept right wing lies, and right wing economic fantasy.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

GOP runs campaigns based on Big Data to reach and distort every mind it can. Slogan are just a cover story to convince the public that the race is above board and they're not doing anything that borders on illegality. The public is whipped into ice cream and follows the surrogates and basks in the hatred.

Fortunately Bloomberg has his own Big Media operation this time around. Democrats have never used such targeting. They rely on fundraising strategies, which were great about 1992. If you're not mining data, you're not competitive.

They sell an image, and a product. And uninformed voters buy that product.
