Trump has to have nearly all Republican support. Give even a few percent an alternative that they accept, and his road is much more difficult.

That's why writing them off en masse was always a dumb idea.

try to use this against him. I tried to explain that we can accept republican support without accepting republican policies or politics. Sometimes, we have to unite with our adversaries in common purpose, something we've done in wars. Once the threat (Trump) is past, we will go back to our own camps for the most part, coming together now and then as Americans when needed.

During World War II we allied with the Soviet Union and without them, Hitler probably would have won. That didn't make us friends.
