He was really good. I love the way he can run off policy bullet points HRC style without seeming too wonkish. I also love his strategy of starting the conversation on every issue by referencing climate change. He's correct that if climate change is not addressed all the other issues combined don't matter so much in the long term (which is becoming shorter everyday). He also addressed Trump's immigration issue head on and has some traction in how the state of Washington has handled it. He's not afraid to celebrate diversity rather than treating it as anathema... our candidate has to have that feature.
My favorite is still Liz, but I vacillate between Harris who may be the more electable liberal candidate who could raise black voting numbers ala Obama, and Beto for his sheer charisma and ability to appeal to less likely voting blocks... but I think I put Jay Inslee in that group personally of folks I would be really excited to see win the nomination and campaign for in the fall of 2020.

(9,497 posts)As I have said before, my hope is that he gains traction. Climate is my number one issue. I am a WA voter, so I have voted for him before.
