I think most Democrats are for legalization now, as are a lot of Republicans. I don't know if McConnell would let it come to a vote or if Trump would sign it. It's certainly worth a try, though, and they should all try to find some things they can work on together. If they passed federal legalization, it would help a hell of a lot of people.
