Upper Valley town hall with Elizabeth Warren draws over a thousandHANOVER, N.H. — Vanessa DeSimone and her class of Advanced Placement Government students from Lebanon High School were just 50 of more than 1,000 people who turned out Thursday to a town hall event with Elizabeth Warren at Dartmouth College.
For many in DeSimone's class, the 2020 election is the first time they will be able to vote in an election; a few won't even be eligible to vote in the primary.
The left-leaning senator from Massachusetts is currently polling first in the Granite State, according to poll aggregator RealClearPolitics.
She made her entrance to applause, accompanied by her husband, Bruce, and their golden retriever, Bailey.
