How can she be in politics as a career and not notice her leader Trump is opposed to all those things? He stopped the border bill, wants to free criminals, and wants great things for his only chosen people. Ronna must be ill... she needs her family and friends to see what is wrong, and help.

That's an interesting question, if your job is literally to represent the party. In that case, the only way to represent the country rather than your party (if the two are at odds) would seem to be to resign your position (since you would be declining to do the job you were hired to do).
