SoCalDem's JournalMittens turned over tax records back to '85 for McCain
He was perfectly willing (over-eager?) to impress McCain & to be considered for veep or Treas sec, but to run for president, we only get the Cliff Notes for last year and some hints at the current year?

More than you ever thought you wanted to know about the Koch Bros.
http://www.nwvcdemocrat.org/koch-brothers.htmsnip
In a 2002 memo, the Republican political consultant Frank Luntz wrote that so long as voters believe there is no consensus about global warming within the scientific community the status quo would prevail. The key for opponents of environmental reform, he said, was to question the sciencea public-relations strategy that the tobacco industry used effectively for years to forestall regulation. The Kochs have funded many sources of environmental skepticism, such as the Heritage Foundation, which has argued that scientific facts gathered in the past 10 years do not support the notion of catastrophic human-made warming. The brothers have given money to more obscure groups, too, such as the Independent Womens Forum, which opposes the presentation of global warming as a scientific fact in American public schools. Until 2008, the group was run by Nancy Pfotenhauer, a former lobbyist for Koch Industries. Mary Beth Jarvis, a vice-president of a Koch subsidiary, is on the groups board.
Naomi Oreskes, a professor of history and science studies at the University of California, San Diego, is the co-author of Merchants of Doubt, a new book that chronicles various attempts by American industry to manipulate public opinion on science. She noted that the Kochs, as the heads of a company with refineries and pipelines, have a lot at stake. She added, If the answer is to phase out fossil fuels, a different group of people are going to be making money, so we shouldnt be surprised that theyre fighting tooth and nail.
David Koch told New York that he was unconvinced that global warming has been caused by human activity. Even if it has been, he said, the heating of the planet will be beneficial, resulting in longer growing seasons in the Northern Hemisphere. The Earth will be able to support enormously more people because far greater land area will be available to produce food, he said.
In the mid-eighties, the Kochs provided millions of dollars to George Mason University, in Arlington, Virginia, to set up another think tank. Now known as the Mercatus Center, it promotes itself as the worlds premier university source for market-oriented ideasbridging the gap between academic ideas and real-world problems. Financial records show that the Koch family foundations have contributed more than thirty million dollars to George Mason, much of which has gone to the Mercatus Center, a nonprofit organization. Its ground zero for deregulation policy in Washington, Rob Stein, the Democratic strategist, said. It is an unusual arrangement. George Mason is a public university, and receives public funds, Stein noted. Virginia is hosting an institution that the Kochs practically control.

Call congress.. tell them not to raise taxes on dividends
I count on that 92 cents that State Farm sends us every year, and the $18.26 from Metropolitan Life.
How will our family survive if taxes are raised for dividends..
I'm losing sleep over it, I tell ya,,

Do you have to prove citizenship to get a gun license in Texas?
If a gun license is acceptable ID for voting, and the new rules are set to make sure than only citizens vote, how does a gun license prove anything except that you can afford a gun?
I saw a reference to passport photos, but did not see anything that proves citizenship as a requirement.

Prove it !
Remember how Pres. Obama was HOUNDED day and night just to make him PROVE he was born in Hawaii, even though all evidence already proved it?
Mittens supposedly gave McCain TWENTY-THREE years of tax forms when he was grovelling to be vice president. That was only 5 years ago, so those copies EXIST.
Show US those forms, Mittens.
He claims to have NOT "profited" from having all those foreign accounts, so PROVE IT.
We already know he's wildly rich..He brags about it. We won;t learn much about his wealth, but we might learn HOW he got that way.
Were there too many red-flags for McCain?
There are copies "out there" that stretch back to 1985 (ish), and those years are the very ones we deserve to know about.
Did you know that Gov Rick Scott (FL) died?
At least he was dead until he tried to vote & then he was resurrected.
So much for their fantastic "list"..

(CNN) Florida Gov. Rick Scott is not dead. But according to one elections official in Naples he died in 2006.
Thats the story the Republican governor told the Miami Herald Thursday, explaining how he attempted to cast an early ballot and was told the unsettling news.
I went in, I was doing early voting, so I went in to the office in Naples, in the city hall where they were doing early voting, and they said, You cant vote because youre dead. They didnt say you couldnt vote, they said, Youre dead. Youre passed away, Scott said.
The officials, after seeing Scotts ID, allowed him to cast a provisional ballot, and the next time he went to vote he appeared to re-join the ranks of the living.

INTRODUCTION
Definition of a derecho
A derecho (pronounced similar to "deh-REY-cho" in English, or pronounced phonetically as "" is a widespread, long-lived wind storm that is associated with a band of rapidly moving showers or thunderstorms. Although a derecho can produce destruction similar to that of tornadoes, the damage typically is directed in one direction along a relatively straight swath. As a result, the term "straight-line wind damage" sometimes is used to describe derecho damage. By definition, if the wind damage swath extends more than 240 miles (about 400 kilometers) and includes wind gusts of at least 58 mph (93 km/h) or greater along most of its length, then the event may be classified as a derecho.
Origin of the term "derecho"
The word "derecho" was coined by Dr. Gustavus Hinrichs, a physics professor at the University of Iowa, in a paper published in the American Meteorological Journal in 1888. A defining excerpt from the paper can be seen in this figure showing a derecho crossing Iowa on July 31, 1877. Hinrichs chose this terminology for thunderstorm-induced straight-line winds as an analog to the word tornado.
