This is discipline.

As in, if one behaves in a manner unbecoming to the team, one will no longer be allowed to represent it. His behavior reflects badly on those members who can control themselves: Self-discipline.

Do I think none of the other members say similar things? I am certain they do, but probably not posted on twitter.

They just say, "This decision should not be considered a precedent--even though that is, practically, the most important aspect of our decisions--in this one little instance where we went way out of our jurisdiction."
