Kenny Rogers has passed away

Vocalist Kenny Rogers, who dominated the pop and country charts in the 1970s and 1980s with a string of sleekly tailored hits and won three Grammys, has died. He was 81. Rogers “passed away peacefully at home from natural causes under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family,” a representative for the singer said in a statement. Due to the national COVID-19 emergency, the family is planning a small private service at this time with a public memorial planned for a later date.

More Incompetence: they were Screening No International Travellers Yesterday

I had friends coming into DFW via Qatar and they found a huge # of people and an almost 6hr wait standing in line.

The real kick though. There was 0 screening or testing going on. 0, none.

The reports are an absolute lie by the government.

The importance of the virus is in the exit polling

But the pundits are still jabbering about horse race...

When 3/4 of people are majorly concerned about the virus over anything else, Maslow's hierarchy of needs kicks in and any narrative about ideology is going to fall flat even it were 100% correct.

Biden's association with Obama's ability to manage crises, in that scenario, makes him the comfort food candidate.

And unless there is another radical shift that is unforseen Biden will win the nomination outright.

It was all over early last week when the first cases hit.

3/4 Voters Cited the importance of Corona Virus in Exit Polls

In all the discussion, I think almost everyone missed the 500lb gorilla in the room because the media has been too focused on the horse race.

It's clear the the virus completely shifted the playing field pre-SC and tipped in a way that majorly enhanced Biden's chances.

Gaetz Gets Burned Badly by Rep. Johnson

Trump hosted conspiracy theorists at WH days before call to Zelensky

Any questions why he was babbling about Crowdstrike? https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2019/07/trump-social-media-summit-far-right

El Paso and the Gamification of Terrorism

...In the wake of the Christchurch shooting I published my first Bellingcat article about 8chan. I was interviewed by numerous media agencies about the website, and I warned all of them that additional attacks would follow – every month or two – until something was done. This prediction has proven accurate. Until law enforcement, and the media, treat these shooters as part of a terrorist movement no less organized, or deadly, than ISIS or Al Qaeda, the violence will continue. There will be more killers, more gleeful celebration of body counts on 8chan, and more bloody attempts to beat the last killer’s “high score”.

El Paso Shooter lived about 1mile from my home

Just a bit freaked out. My family is multi-racial and we have been many times to the closest Walmart to his home. We shop there alot for certain items.

He also attended my daughters' college at the same time. They did not know him.

Not been this creeped out since I found at we were at the mall that was attacked by terrorists in Nairobi on a day they did a walkthrough (Christmas Eve) before the actual attack.

Why Not Double Impeach?

Hear me out:

Continue investigating and impeach soon but with only some of the charges.

If the Senate rejects, it becomes a campaign issue to change the Senate.

If Trump is still in office, second impeachment with stronger charges under the new Congress.

If Pelosi is so scared of the politics, this could work as an alternative approach.
