Jennifer, however, in November 2016, penned an open letter to President-Elect Donald Trump, which she posted on her blog.

“Mr. Trump, I actually love that you are a bad public speaker because that showed sincerity, and humility,” she wrote. “You changed your mind, and you said ‘so what.’ You made the famous ‘grab them in the pussy’ comment, did it offend me? No. I say things all the time that people take the wrong way, do I mean them, not always. Do I agree that you should of [sic] shown your tax returns? No. I don’t care what you do or maybe don’t pay in taxes, I think those are personal and if the Gov’t can lock someone up over $10,000 of unpaid taxes and you slipped on by, then that shows the corruption.”

Crumbley went on to tell Trump that she hoped he would “really uncover the politicians for what I believe they really are,” and that he might “shut down Big Pharma, make health care affordable for me and my MIDDLE CLASS family again.” She was in favor of Trump’s long-promised border wall, and noted that she was “not racist” because her grandfather “came straight off the boat in Italy.”

“As a female and a Realtor, thank you for allowing my right to bear arms,” the letter continued. “Allowing me to be protected if I show a home to someone with bad intentions. Thank you for respecting that Amendment.”

She complained about parents at other schools where the “kids come from illegal immigrant parents,” and “don’t care about learning.”

It was signed, “A hard working Middle Class Law Abiding Citizen who is sick of getting fucked in the ass and would rather be grabbed by the pussy.”

Two Putnam County men, who appear to be brothers, were recently arrested in relation to the Jan. 6 blitz on the U.S. Capitol building.

Greg Richard Purdy Jr., a Carmel High School graduate, and Matthew Purdy, both of Kent, were arrested Nov. 10. They face a slew of federal charges that accuse them of storming the Capitol, with Greg Purdy allegedly putting up a series of social media posts as the attack unfolded and in the immediate aftermath. They are at least the 11th and 12th men with ties to the Mid Hudson Valley accused in the attack.

…Greg and Matthew Purdy both face federal charges of entering and remaining in a restricted building and grounds, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly conduct in a Capitol building and demonstrating in a Capitol building.

…Greg Purdy Jr. was placed on the FBI's most wanted list following the Jan. 6 attack, which occurred as lawmakers attempted to certify the 2020 Presidential election…Several Putnam residents have been arrested since Jan. 6. A Mahopac man was arrested by the FBI earlier this fall after he was arrested in an unrelated robbery case in Westchester County. Another Putnam resident was charged after he bragged about storming the Capitol on the dating app Bumble.

On Thursday, The Denver Post reported that a woman flying from San Jose to Denver was stopped by airline personnel and police, who she claims profiled her as a possible human trafficker because her daughter was not the same race.

"Mary MacCarthy, who is white, and her 10-year-old daughter, who is Black, flew from San Jose, California, to Denver on Oct. 22 to be with family after the sudden death of MacCarthy's older brother the night before. When they arrived in Denver, they were met on the jet bridge by a Southwest Airlines employee and two Denver police officers," reported Elise Schmelzer.

"The two officers started talking to MacCarthy and her daughter, Moira, separately. The officers wanted to question MacCarthy and her daughter because a Southwest Airlines employee had reported them as suspicious and MacCarthy as a potential human trafficker, according to a Denver police report and MacCarthy's account."

MacCarthy is enraged at the incident, which reportedly reduced her daughter to tears. "This is the type of situation that mixed-race families and families of color face all the time while traveling," she said.

According to the report, the original complaint was made by a flight attendant on their Southwest Airlines flight, who "told police she was suspicious because the two were the last to board the plane and because MacCarthy asked other passengers to move so her daughter could sit next to her ... [and] also reported that the pair did not speak during the flight."

The great Brazilian pianist Nelson Freire died today after prolonged suffering, following injuries to his shoulder in a street fall two years ago. A close friend, the French writer Alain Lompech, was notified of the death by his household this morning.

Nelson was the lifelong best friend of Martha Argerich and himself a performer of the greatest subtlety and inwardness.

He shunned publicity, recorded copiously and never let an audience down. His companion Rosana Martins predeceased him last year.
