Obama's share of investment in #Sensata? $11.00
When #Sensata took over the internet last week, the republicans tried to innoculate Romney from damage by countering that President Obama himself has investments in Sensata. Thats why Romney did his in-your-face schtick during the debate about "have you looked at your pension? Have you? have you?" Turns out the Presidents total amount of investment in Sensata is $11.00 bucks.

Mitt Romney's campaign first started trying to deflect attention from the $8 million Romney has in the Bain fund that controls Sensata Technologies to President Barack Obama's pension as an Illinois state senator a couple weeks ago. Then Romney himself ramped up the attack on Obama's pension at Tuesday night's debate. Romney didn't name Sensata, but that's clearly what's putting him so ridiculously on the defensive about his own Chinese investments. How ridiculous is this line of attack? Ludicrous. Absurd. Farcical. Preposterous.
There's a number that illustrates this: $11. See, the Illinois State Board of Investment, which invests for not only the General Assembly pension plan that Obama is a part of but also for the State Employee Retirement System, has a $1 million loan to Sensata. With roughly 90,000 people in the pension systems holding that loan, each of them, including former state Sen. Barack Obama, has $11 of Sensata. He can't collect that $11 until he turns 62, in 11 years.
Mitt Romney, on the other hand, got himself more than $100,000 (the maximum value of Obama's entire pension) in tax deductions for moving Sensata stock to his Tyler Charitable Foundation. That's a foundation, by the way, that's given at least $260,000 to conservative organizations including think tanks and groups working on teen abstinence, "praying away the gay," and opposition to birth control mandates.

How can she possibly equate these Mormon "missions" proselytizing their faith, as serving the country? This is where they "served" their missions:
Tagg Romney served in Bordeaux, France.
Matt Romney served in Paris France.
Josh Romney served in Leeds, England.
Ben Romney served in Australia.
Craig Romney served in Santiago, Chile
Not exactly third world impoverished countries.
I don't think they were sleeping in the alleys with the homeless. You can bet they stayed at posh luxury accommodations. Spending a day or two a week handing out pamphlets. What did they risk? Getting a Catholic slamming the door in their face? What did they sacrifice? Forced to eat 4 star cuisine instead of 5?
She actually considers this equivalent to what our sons endure in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Veronica De Souza knew she was onto something as soon as Mitt Romney uttered the now-infamous words “binders full of women” during Tuesday’s presidential debate.
“I thought, ‘Oh, boy,’” she said, when he used the phrase to describe how he found and recruited women to his Cabinet while he was governor of Massachusetts.
And so the instantly viral Tumblr Binders Full of Women was born, along with a host of attendant Twitter accounts like “@BindersofWomen, “@Romneys_Binder” and “@RomneyBinders”
De Souza’s sudden celebrity was certainly well-timed. In a move that illustrates the difficulties many young workers face these days, the 23-year-old learned she was being laid off from her job as a social media manager at a technology startup just hours before Tuesday’s debate.
