So many pundits were running on "getting tough" on Ebola and using the hysteria as an excuse to tear down the government when it was actually performing very competently and responsibly. I was mildly concerned about Ebola but the hysteria over it was OTT much of the time as it apparently is much harder to spread than some of the unintelligent/ill-informed pundits and politicians claimed it was and, as it turns out, the CDC was way more on top of things than it will ever be given credit for, which is extremely frustrating. *sigh*
".....because when it doesn't bleed, it doesn't lead."
Yup. Especially in this particular case.
Anybody whom can't see difference
Simply isn't paying attention, doesn't care enough to find out, or purposely trying to muddy the waters for their own ends. America: Your choice.
The invasion WAS "the mistake"
and every other mistake thereafter simply flowed from that first one IMHO
It's scary enough knowing that Jeb takes advice from his brother on anything
let alone on Iraq.
However, what's scariest to me is that there are no limitations on how many terms Dick Cheney can serve as VP.
Republican neocons here in this country have not been very helpful in regards to the UN
They openly attacked, ridiculed, and flat out ignored it when it came to Iraq back in 2003. Many of them hate the UN and would love to see it further undermined, if not eliminated IMHO.
