That morning show on CBS is so fake, they ALL seem to be trying so hard to have a fun time. Ugh.

Was on when I turned the TV on this morning, and watched for a few minutes, and it just feels so fake to me. Anyone else think this?? I don’t watch ANY “news” shows in the morning. It’s tennis or court TV, or the vet, (animal) shows for my morning viewing.

Weird......just had a guy come to my back door asking for my patio that he purchased.

I said sorry, we don’t have a patio for sale….he showed me on the phone what it was supposed to look like and I say, “oh that’s ugly”. It was this gray half closed looking thing that looked like it was made out of canvas. I said address is blah, blah, blah and he showed me my address on his phone as to prove that this WAS the place he was supposed to pick it up. He said he paid with PayPal, and I said “oh, I NEVER use PayPal”. He says, oh, so I’m out a patio?? I said guess so, sorry, and said goodbye. Just kinda weird. How’d he get my address???

jelly, we’d get the orioles, BUT WE GET THE ROBINS AS WELL. 😳 Robins eating grape jelly you say??? Oh yah, our Robins would line up their babies and give them grape jelly for their dessert. It was then I decided to not feed the orioles anymore. So now, they’re trying to feed on our hummingbird feeders. They finally do realize they don’t have the skinny curved beaks that fit into the hummingbird feeders.

Rachel Maddow Presents: Ultra, the lesbian MSNBC host’s podcast about efforts to spread Nazi propaganda in the U.S. and overthrow American democracy in the 1940s, has received the 2023 Hillman Prize for Broadcast Journalism, marking the first time the prize has gone to a podcast.

The award is bestowed by the Sidney Hillman Foundation, named for a union leader who was a key figure in President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s New Deal. The Hillman Prizes have been presented annually since 1950 to the daily, periodical, and labor press as well as authors and broadcasters.
