In an effort to get people to “read more, TV less,” Aaron Rodgers is bringing back his book club for another season.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback and avid reader introduced his first title, “The Mastery of Love: A Practical Guide to the Art of Relationship” by don Miguel Ruiz, on his weekly Tuesday appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

He also announced that he’ll match the $100,000 raised by the club last season from the sale of $25 Aaron Rodgers Book Club T-shirts and other contributions with a $100,000 donation of his own. The money will go to reading advocacy groups. The names of those partnering organizations will be announced soon, Rodgers said.

Anyone know of any men's brand of black crew sox with no elastic in them???? I have tried and found

none without some kind of elastic in them. He hates them with it. I must have looked at 10 different companies and can't find any. Any help will be most appreciated.

Herschel Walker is trying a novel approach in his race against Sen. Raphael Warnock in Georgia: Don’t expect too much out of me, I’m just not that smart.

Walker’s new spin comes specifically in reference to next month’s planned debate between the two candidates.

“I’m this country boy. I’m not that smart. And he’s that preacher. He’s a smart man, wears these nice suits,” Walker said of Warnock at a recent press conference filmed by the Savannah Morning News. “So he’s going to show up and embarrass me at the debate October the 14th, and I’m just waiting. I’ll show up and I’m going to do my best.”

Which, well, ok.

It is pretty apparent what Walker is doing – or trying to do – here. He desperately wants to lower expectations in advance of the debate in hopes of clearing a very low bar and coming out of the event with momentum for the final weeks of the campaign.
