Argument in family

DH: Garland can handle anything.
Me: Garland is a holiday decoration.

Nicest thing I can say, since I think Garland is WRONG for the job. And I HOPES HE LOSES and E.C. wins since I believe Trump sexually assaulted her.

Question: If Carroll rightfully wins, are the U.S. taxpayers on the hook❓❓

So, raping a woman was one of Trump's official duties. How fucked up is that ❓

THIS ⬆⬆

I know a NASA physicist who had the similar idea as the article above but knowing that aerosols can be a big problem, thought that some kind of huge shields could help. He talked to his branch management about it. This was ~20yrs ago and he was laughed out of the office.

(Btw, believe it or not, most NASA engineers are Republicans. The physicists on the other hand, are all Democrats.)

He should've gone across the field to talk to the atmospheric scientists about his idea. I'm sure others have thought of this and it's about g.d. time that we implement something.

Thanks.🤐

I realize these scientists are trying to help, even cure human cognitive problems.

"Eventually, this type of rat model could be used to study psychiatric disorders, autism or neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s, and even to identify new treatments or test their effectiveness."

However, I'm one of those people who do not believe the end always justifies the means. I also opposed many other animal experimentations, like those in psychology labs. (Had a dozen college hrs. of psych courses myself.)

Dolly 💕

Man reveals Dolly Parton sponsored uniforms at Black high schools without any publicity for years.

Parton is known for doing charity work without requiring any public recognition and fanfare for it.

A student from one of those schools commented on Harriot's tweet and wrote, "30+ years ago I was in high school marching band in East Tennessee. One year we played Sevier County High School...and DANG that band was equipped — uniforms, instruments, flags, everything. Mountain area, much poverty. Paid for by Dolly Parton. That woman is a national treasure."

.
She is also a staunch supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement. She said in an interview with Billboard in 2020, "Of course, Black lives matter. Do we think our little white asses are the only ones that matter? No."Dolly Parton has continued to give back to her community at every possible opportunity. One Twitter user said it best, "Dolly may be the closest thing to a saint on our planet. She doesn’t want her good works publicized and goes about her work quietly."

Please read the whole article. Dolly has done so many amazing things, some of which I never knew about.

Hell YES! +1000 👍

Bombshell report in the NYT:

Former top DoJ official publicly warned about the team Garland has investigating Trump.

They're not up to the job and it's obvious to some officials.

"Mass psychosis"

I posted the other day.

More:

Mass formation psychosis is when a large part of a society focuses its attention to a leader(s) or a series of events and their attention focuses on one small point or issue. Followers can be hypnotized and be led anywhere, regardless of data proving otherwise.

Interesting question

The Earth has a lot of mass and moves extremely quickly in its orbit around the Sun; in science speak, we say its ‘momentum’ is large.

To significantly change the Earth’s orbit, you would have to impart a very great change to the Earth’s momentum.

Not even the largest asteroids have sufficient mass and kinetic energy to make much of a difference to the Earth’s momentum.

Our planet’s binding energy is greater than its orbital kinetic energy.
This means that any object large enough to change the Earth’s orbit is also big enough to completely destroy it!

Yet, we are interested in stopping smaller, yet damaging asteroids.
