UK Parliament Suffers Sustained Cyber-Attack As All MPs Targeted By Hackers, Sources Tell HuffPost
Source: Huffington Post
But Fridays incident was unprecedented because it appears to have targeted all Parliamentary addresses.
An email passed to HuffPost UK reveals the seriousness of the incident as hackers were found to have been carrying out a sustained and determined attack on all Parliamentary user accounts in attempt to identify weak passwords.
A former US intelligence expert told the Guardian recently that a British political party could soon be the victim of a hack similar to those suffered by the Clinton and Macron presidential campaigns.
James Norton, a former official at the US Department of Homeland Security and head of the security consultancy Play-Action Strategies, told the paper: It wouldnt surprise me if theres already been some emails stolen
it would surprise me if it didnt happen.

Flowering Caladium
When I bought these Caladium last week at the nursery they appeared to have extra leaves that had not yet opened. This morning I woke to a nice surprise: Flowers that looked, to me, like Jack in the Pulpit. Not sure what to call this type of flower but they are so cool!

APNewsBreak: Gianforte to plead guilty to assault charge
Source: Associated Press
HELENA, Mont. (AP) U.S. Rep.-elect Greg Gianforte of Montana will plead guilty to assaulting a reporter the day before being elected the state's only congressman last month, a prosecutor said Friday.
The Republican technology entrepreneur will enter his plea in court on Monday, when he is scheduled to be arraigned and sentenced on the misdemeanor charge, Gallatin County Attorney Marty Lambert told The Associated Press.
Gianforte requested the court hearing after reaching a civil settlement this week.
Guardian reporter Ben Jacobs over claims that Gianforte knocked Jacobs to the ground when the reporter asked him a question May 24.
As part of the settlement, Jacobs said he would not object to Gianforte entering a plea of no contest, or nolo contendere, meaning Gianforte would concede to the charge without admitting guilt.
But Lambert said Gianforte will plead guilty.
"He is not going to be entering a nolo contendere plea," Lambert said. "He's going to be pleading guilty."
Gianforte spokesman Shane Scanlon did not return telephone and text messages seeking comment.
Misdemeanor assault convictions in Montana carry a maximum penalty of six months in prison and a $500 fine.

Another Dumb Question: Shouldn't the Feds be worried
that the First Family is a flight risk?
Trump has money and property overseas.
He has Jarad and Ivana to help him oversee his escape.
Would any of the foreign countries he is visiting give him assylum?
It would get the best ratings- HUGE - if he pulled it off. Better than any other reality show ever!
ANALYSIS: DOES INTEL LEAK MEAN TRUMPS TRIP IS OFF?
Source: Jerusalem Post
If US President Donald Trump leaked classified intelligence coming from Israel to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, does that mean his trip to Israel next week could or should be canceled? This is the question that some in the Knesset asked after reports on the leaks pointed to Israel as the source of Trumps information.
While some people interpreted that speculation as an imminent dis-invitation, chances are, if its Israels choice, Trump will still be visiting next week.
After all, Israeli Ambassador to the US Ron Dermer immediately responded that Israel has full confidence in our intelligence-sharing relationship with the United States and looks forward to deepening that relationship in the years ahead under President Trump.
That doesnt sound like a crisis brewing.
Lets face it, there is a broad consensus in Israeli politics that the US is Israels most important strategic ally. And Israel needs Americas help both in funds and diplomatic support. Yes, Israel brings things to the relationship.
Its not totally one-sided. But that doesnt mean it would be worth the risk of canceling on any US president, let alone a volatile and unpredictable one like Trump.
