I voted today ! I drove to the Orange County Supervisor of Elections Office and turned it in !

There was a line of cars to do this, which surprised me. They had two stations outside in the parking lot for people to drive up and turn in their ballot. They asked, explicitly, "Did you sign and date it ?", and I said yes of course. So, it's fair to say that the Orange County SOE office is functioning well on this score.

Please vote as early as you can. If by mail, please do not procrastinate at all.

Let's do this for Vice-President Biden and Senator Harris ! Let's turn Florida BLUE !

Trump is a narcissistic psychopath, period. The media cannot say this....

None of us or the mental health professionals have personally interviewed him and collected all the necessary data.

However, to me, it is plainly obvious. His narcissism has been stressed continually.

His psychopathy, however, has not. The psychopathy is what really puts the nation at risk. He is totally incapable of true empathy or caring for others beyond what they can do for him, his money, or his re-election.

Yes, of course, I have not examined him either. However, the narcissistic psychopath diagnosis (or malignant narcissist) has been mentioned frequently.

He cannot function as a normal President. It is that simple. If people wish to say he is a sociopath and has sociopathy, I won't argue the point.

sincere question: Trump as Commander in Chief and Walter Reed

My understanding is that most of the doctors are in the military. What can Trump do as CiC ?

If he were an ordinary person working with non-military doctors, it seems it would be a different situation.

Can someone help me understand the overall situation ? Thanks.

Dr. Karan (NPR contributor): "....your discharge day shouldn't be tomorrow"

While we don’t know all the details here, I’ll say this— if you’re having dropping oxygen levels and being started on #dexamethasone, your discharge day shouldn’t be tomorrow.

What are the best state-by-state polls for Biden right now ?

Off the top of my head, I see Florida within margin of error (MOE).
I also see GA in MOE
I think I've seen OH in MOE
NC also MOE
TX very close
AZ I think is clearly for Biden ?
MN clearly for Biden ?
PA clearly for Biden ?
WI clearly for Biden ?
MI clearly for Biden

Did I get all those correct, or have the best polls changed all that ? Thanks!

eta: Excellent point was made down-thread about effects of debate and Trump's COVID-19 diagnosis.

The chronic issue of poverty: how do the sincere Republicans propose to alleviate it ?

Caveat: I am not talking about Trump or Trumpists. Forget them.

I am referring to, I guess, "Reagan worshippers". I have always heard from them, "oh all boats are lifted by a rising tide". From what I have seen, I am not too sure about that. Those who have a "good boat" (aka enough education or training, good health, family support, etc) are lifted, whereas all others are not lifted.

My hunch is that, if you are Republican, you really do NOT care about poverty, whatsoever. Or its effects upon society. Over 47 years of observing them, it is ONLY Democrats that have really put forth serious proposals about it. I can't tell you the exact ones, I would have to go do hours of research.

Has anyone had a debate with a Republican about it, or read a "serious book" about it from one of them ?

Thank you again for tolerating my questions. I hope it helps others be educated, also.
