Did anyone else catch this during Robert Gates interview on FTN?

There was a discussion of the age of Presidential candidates. After discussing the challenges of the office for men in their 70's, he remarked that Reagan was that old during his 2nd term, but he was still a pretty good President.

What?!?!?!? Has he forgotten that Reagan was suffering the onset of Alzheimer's during his 2nd term?

Rudy Giuliani Cancels His Trip to Ukraine, Blaming Democrats' 'Spin'

Facing withering attacks accusing him of seeking foreign assistance for President Trump’s re-election campaign, Rudolph W. Giuliani announced on Friday night that he had canceled a trip to Kiev in which he planned to push the incoming Ukrainian government to press ahead with investigations that he hoped would benefit Mr. Trump.

Mr. Giuliani, President Trump’s personal lawyer, explained that he felt like he was being “set up,” and he blamed Democrats for trying to “spin” the trip.

“They say I was meddling in the election — ridiculous — but that’s their spin,” he said.

Mr. Giuliani said on Thursday that he had hoped to meet in Kiev, the Ukrainian capital, with the nation’s president-elect and urge him to pursue inquiries that could yield new information about two matters of intense interest to Mr. Trump. One is the origin of the special counsel’s investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election. The other is the involvement of former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s son in a gas company owned by a Ukrainian oligarch.

Regarding Pompeo"s remarks this morning on FTN.

Twice he responded to questions about apparent discrepancies in some of Trump's statements regarding Russia and election interference by saying (paraphrasing here) that the Presidents tweets had made his position quite clear.

So this is where we seem to be, folks. The POTUS rolls out his foreign policy on Twitter. Apparently no discussion with staff or government agency heads, no official announcements, just a man and his phone. I'm really struggling with this concept.

Have I ever mentioned that I love Bette Midler?

Bette Midler

#Barr is so deep in #Trump’s pocket, he can probably shake hands with Lindsey Graham in there. Altho he’d have to reach WAAAAY down.

Jesus Christ. Seriously, that's who Steve King is comparing himself to.

Steve King says he understands how Jesus Christ felt after months of criticism in the House

U.S. Rep. Steve King said that after facing months of criticism for comments in the New York Times about white supremacy and nationalism, he better understands the persecution Jesus Christ felt.

The 4th District representative made the comments in response to a question from the Rev. Pinky Person of the Faith In Christ Fellowship, who told King during a town hall Tuesday in Cherokee that she was concerned that "Christianity is really being persecuted."

“When I have to step down to the floor of the House of Representatives, and look up at those 400-and-some accusers — you know we just passed through Easter and Christ's passion — and I have better insight into what He went through for us, partly because of that experience," King told about 30 attendees the town hall at Western Iowa Tech Community College.

I just do not have words for this.
