Arkansas Granny
Arkansas Granny's JournalI've been observing a wren's nest on my front porch. I didn't know it was there
until I observed them flying in with food a couple of days ago. I just saw one of them fly in with a worm and then fly away with what appeared to be part of an eggshell.
Do the eggs hatch over a number of days or was this delayed housekeeping? I've heard that the shells are discarded away from the nest so they don't attract predators, but this is the first time I've seen it.
I know it's early, but this may be the tweet of the day.

Stephen Miller's homemade face mask takes less than ten minutes to put together. Supplies: bed sheet, scissors, and (optional) cone shaped hat.https://www.blackstarnews.com/us-politics/white-house/trump-and-miller-prioritize-attacking-immigrants-over

Bipartisan group of senators demands Trump explain intel IG firing
The letter, signed by eight senators from both parties, represents Congress clearest denunciation yet of Trumps decision to sack Michael Atkinson, the intelligence community inspector general.
Congressional intent is clear that an expression of lost confidence, without further explanation, is not sufficient to fulfill the requirements of the statute, the lawmakers, led by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), wrote in the letter to Trump.
The senators cited a 2008 law mandating that the president provide Congress with a detailed explanation of his decision to fire Atkinson, who defied Trump last year when he turned over to lawmakers a whistleblower complaint that led to the presidents impeachment.

Like Reagan, Trump callously allows Americans to die
When it came to fighting a viral pandemic and saving American lives, Donald Trump and Ronald Reagan acted in frighteningly similar ways.
Except Trump says the quiet part out loud.

Thats the only significant difference between Trumps negligence on coronavirus and Reagans on AIDS in the 1980s, as each enjoyed the support of much of their party in the face of these catastrophic failures.
This is instructive because it shows us just where the the GOP has gone over 40 years: Now Republicans feel emboldened to act with callous, reckless disregard in a much more blatant, in-your-face way.

...the Fake News Media into not covering them, but that effort failed because the ratings are through the roof according to, of all sources, the Failing New York Times, Monday Night Football, Bachelor Finale type numbers (& sadly, they get it $FREE). Trump Derangement Syndrome!

All Trump cares about is the economy. This is disgusting.

Once we OPEN UP OUR GREAT COUNTRY, and it will be sooner rather than later, the horror of the Invisible Enemy, except for those that sadly lost a family member or friend, must be quickly forgotten. Our Economy will BOOM, perhaps like never before!!!

Arkansas' mayors denied lockdown power
Gov. Asa Hutchinson said Tuesday that the state will help cities enforce restrictions on social interaction designed to slow the spread of the coronavirus, but he won't allow them to impose stay-at-home orders.
He spoke at a news conference with Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott Jr., who said he had asked the governor to impose such an order on the capital city.
"I've had discussions with a number of different mayors, and I think it points to the need to have a statewide policy," Hutchinson said when asked if other mayors had made similar requests.

As my mother used to say,
I'm so bored I'd pay money to watch two pissants fight over a slice of bread.
At least the weather is warming up so we aren't confined to the house 24/7.
