CaliforniaPeggy's Journal***Time Frame for the July Photo Contest: Abandoned***
'Abandoned' is the theme. It would include any inanimate object: places, machinery, vehicles, buildings, tools, etc. Just no abandoned people, animals, or plants.
I will post the thread for submissions on July 5th. It will run till July 10th. Only one photo with title per entry. If we need a second entry, I will post a separate announcement for that.
Once we have 30 entries, I will post the preliminary threads on July 11th, to run 72 hours. The final thread will run right after that, also for 72 hours. And then I will announce the winners on July 18th.
And away we go...................
***Announcing the Theme for the July contest: Abandoned***
sinkingfeeling chose the theme. Here is what he said about it:
I would like to use 'Abandoned' as a theme. It would include any inanimate object: places, machinery, vehicles, buildings, tools, etc. Just no abandoned people, animals, or plants.
For example: this is a photo from the Pripyat, Ukraine amusement park near Chernobyl.
Please start thinking about this, and planning or shooting something that works with this theme! I will post the schedule for the contest tomorrow, or maybe later today.
I will start submissions after the Fourth of July has passed.
