**Time Frame for the September Photo Contest--Summer**
All right! Summer is officially over, so that means this month's contest will give us the chance to show off our Summer photos!
I think a week to get your ideas going should work. Therefore, I propose to open Submissions on September 9th.
Then when we get to 30 photos, I will start the Preliminary Threads in General Discussion. Those will run for 72 hours, and then the Finals will run, also for 72 hours. And there will be links and further details as the month progresses.
So you all can now think about and choose the photos that best represents Summer to you! All aspects make good choices. Use your imagination!

I see people talking about being scared, and I get it. However, I am not.
Being scared means that part of your brain is occupied with what horrors can happen next.
You need to be calm and keep your eyes open so that any threat can be viewed without the scared filter.
Being scared hinders your good judgement.
