No Unreasonable Offer Refused

My Fellow Republicans:

After years of churning out excuses for Trump's statements, actions, and behaviour, the legendary GOP Bullshit-Generating Machine is running out of enough material to continue as a viable tool to counter the attacks on our "pResident".

As you are no doubt aware, the Democrats are using facts, audio-tapes, the testimony of witnesses. etc., to bring Trump down - in other words, there is no low they won't sink to in their quest to hold Donald accountable for his crimes.

If you are a Republican who has any ideas as to what we can do to save Trump and our party from being annihilated by the truth, we are open to any-and-all suggestions, no matter how ludicrous and/or insane.

In addition to the aforementioned, our Propaganda Catapult is showing signs of malfunctioning, and our Spaghetti Spewing Apparatus is missing the wall at an alarming rate.

If you are as bereft of ideas as we are, a large donation of cash would be greatly appreciated, as many of us will need your hard-earned dollars to pay our legal fees in the days to come.

Thanks for your attention to this pressing matter.

Your friendly GOP

Just Get a Life

It's that simple, MAGAts - just get a life that doesn't involve being perpetually outraged about how other people are living their lives.

I guarantee that your blood pressure will go down, your overall mental health will improve, and you'll have lots of time to devote to making your own life more fulfilling, more productive, and all-around more satisfying.

Try it! Millions of people do it, and are happy with the results!

You're welcome.

Be careful what you wish for, MAGAts

If you managed to elect all of the people who are championing your right to bear arms and your Christian religion, their first order of business would be to confiscate your guns as being a threat to their rule, and to declare your Christianity a subversive cult spreading anti-American ideas about feeding the hungry and caring for the sick.

The writing is on the wall - and being too stupid to read it is no longer a viable excuse.

The stage is set, Republicans

Now that we've all heard the audiotape of Trump flagrantly committing crimes against the United States and her people, isn't this the perfect opportunity to release the tapes you claim prove that Joe and Hunter Biden accepted bribes?

I'm no political strategist, but seems to me that the timing couldn't be better to yell AH HA!, and send those tapes to every media outlet in the country.

You could clearly turn this whole - wait, what? You don't have any such tapes? The dog ate them along with your kid's homework? The reliable sources you got them from have disappeared, or died under 'mysterious circumstances?

Well, shit happens.

Maybe you should explain all of that to the American people - ya know, the ones you've been telling you had the 'goods' on Joe and Hunter, the irrefutable evidence of their corruption right there in their own words on tape.

I'm sure everyone will understand how such credible evidence can somehow suddenly vanish into thin air.

Just add 'gurgle gurgle' to the end ...

... of every statement made by Trump's defenders from here on in.

Why? Because that's the last sound made by a drowning rat who was too stupid to get off a sinking ship.

Witness for the Prosecution

All of us here eagerly hoped for Trump's downfall. We prayed for it, we worked for it - some of us even fantasized about it.

Now that it's happening, there's something so right - something so incredibly exhilarating, something so heart-warmingly gratifying, something so unabashedly soul-satisfying about watching Donald wrap the noose around his own neck.

Loyalists have flipped, witnesses have testified, evidence has been gathered.

But nothing has been as damning as the Traitor-in-Chief's own words - and the fact that he's too stupid to realize that it's his own testimony against himself that is key to his inevitable demise.

"Hang Mike Pence"? No, hang Donald Trump - not only is he building his own scaffold, he's happily supplying the rope.

Author of His Own Misfortune

It always puts a smile on my face thinking about how many hours a day Trump spends reflecting on what his life would be like right now if he'd never been elected.

Were it not for his desire for political power, he'd be spending his days on the golf course, the most pressing thing on his mind being what flavour ice cream he would have for dessert. He'd probably still be 'living under the radar' of the IRS, still generating revenue by cheating contractors out of their fees, still being lauded as a self-made billionaire and savvy businessman - instead of being publicly exposed as the conman he's always been.

Had Trump never been 'pResident', his lawyers would be presenting him with contracts for potential TV shows and product endorsement deals, instead of coming up with implausible ways to try to keep him out of prison.

Donald once had it 'made in the shade', getting away with criminal behaviour in NY state by throwing his fame and his money around - but due to his own ego and arrogance, he's finally facing charges that all the money and fame in the world can't make go away.

Please don't chime-in with replies about how he doesn't think about where he'd be right now if his 'pResidency' never happened - because you know damned well he does. He thinks about it all the time, those halcyon days that once were and could still be, if only those little fingers hadn't reached beyond what they could grasp.

Ivanka was the canary in the coal mine

Throughout the disaster of the Trump era, no one defended, protected, and championed Donald more than his daughter Ivanka - and no one was more openly enamoured of his beloved daughter than dear ol' dad.

And now Ivanka has put as much distance between herself and her father as is humanly possible - refusing to be seen with him, refusing to stand with him during his bid for re-election, refusing to be at his side as he confronts his legal woes - even to the point of changing her last name.

Is Ivanka trying to cover her own ass? Absolutely. Is she choosing to distance herself from her corrupt father out of fear of the consequences of her own potential entanglement in his crimes? Absolutely.

But there is something more telling here - the fact that Ivanka no longer sees Daddy Donald as having the power to protect her from what is about to unfold.

When the Darling Princess acknowledged that her Daddy Dearest is no longer the All-Powerful Ruler of the Castle, the rest of the kingdom should have taken note - and gotten out of town before it was too late.

Is the GOP DELIBERATELY trying to lose in 2024?

That's not my usual sarcasm - it's a serious question.

They suffered massive losses in 2022 due in no small part to their position on abortion, which the vast majority of voters think should be legal. Their response was to double-down on that position by passing even more draconian laws that restrict access to abortion, even in cases that most anti-choicers feel should be recognized - such as incest and rape.

They know that voters are outraged by mass shootings and increasing gun violence. Their response has been to pass legislation that makes firearms even more accessible.

They persist in holding out complete whack-jobs as the "face" of their party - people like MTG - instead of party members who don't rant about Jewish Space Lasers. peach-tree dishes, and the Gazpacho police.

And last, but certainly not least, they still champion their "front runner", a man who has already been indicted twice (with more indictments to come) - a man who they KNOW has zero chance of winning the GE next November.

What is behind the GOP's current 'political strategy'? They don't have enough MAGAt votes to elect Trump, they're turning off what's left of the usual GOP voters, and they're losing the Independents who might otherwise have supported them.

Is this simply a case of the Republican party's willingness to go down with the ship, rather than admit they've been kissing the wrong asses all along?

Pace yourselves, Republicans

With all the outrage you're spewing over Trump's most recent indictment, you could come dangerously close to running out of vitriol by the time indictments #3 and #4 materialize - not to mention the trials that will follow.

Take a tip from Democrats. Despite our gleeful anticipation of what's ahead, we still haven't even put a dent in our emergency popcorn reserves.
