When at first you don't succeed ...

I don’t know why it continues to amaze me that you Republicans have a blind spot when it comes to the bleedin’ obvious. But yet again, I am compelled to point out what every sentient being on the planet can see from miles away.

There isn’t even a remote possibility that there is anything on Hunter Biden’s laptop that would be scandalous enough, horrifying enough, earth-shattering enough, and/or treasonous enough to distract from the fact that your entire party is neck-deep in shit – and that the walls are closing in on all of you, collectively and individually.

The “pResident” you lied for, covered-up for, and corrupted yourselves for is being investigated for a litany of crimes – not the least of which is attempting to overthrow the government of the United States of America, and our democracy along with it.

Do you really think that anyone – other than your dwindling dumber-than-dumb “base” – is going to be distracted by resurrecting your years-old contention that Hunter Biden’s computer holds the key to untold secrets that, once revealed, will lead to the entire nation clamouring for Trump’s return to the White House?

Do you really believe that your hard-on over a hard-drive is going to put an end to the January 6th Committee’s work, or that your complicity in attempting to destroy democracy is going to be sidelined by anything other than a meteor strike that annihilates the entire planet?

Not for nuthin’, guys, but you’re sounding an awful lot like Mike Pillow, the Kraken Lady, and that dude who leaks black ooze from his head. ”We’ve got the evidence right here, but nobody is paying attention to it!” – evidence yet to be shown, almost like it doesn’t exist.

I don’t know who you’re getting your political advice from these days, but I’d fire whoever it is. You’ve been trying to sell the Hunter Biden’s laptop story for years now, and it has much traction now as it had back in the day – which is zero, nada, none.

How do you know you’re losing the war? When you show up armed with the same old/same old weapons that led to your defeat in the last battle – and the one before that, and the one before that, and the one before that.

Get a grip, Republicans. The only people interested in Hunter Biden’s laptop are the same people who gathered in Dealey Plaza to await JFK Junior’s announcement that he’ll be running as Trump’s VP in 2024 – and celebrated by drinking their own piss.

Dear Donnie ...

Joe Biden is speaking - and the whole world is listening.

They are inspired not only by his words, but by his strength of character. He is uniting the global community, he is rallying people the world over to stand with him in pursuit of freedom and democracy.

He demonstrates on a daily basis that unwavering dedication to democratic principles is more important than self-serving braggadocio. He is proving that words can be used to unite rather than divide, and that the power of his office can be used to protect and defend the rights of all rather than a means to line his own pockets.

Joe Biden is, in all respects, the personification of true leadership.

By contrast, the only people who ever showed up at your rallies were the lowest IQ, dumber-than-dumb knuckle-draggers who thought your word-salad rants were a sign of intelligence, and were stupid enough to fill your coffers with their hard-earned money while under the delusion that a pussy-grabbing, multi-bankrupted, alleged billionaire actually had their best interests at heart .

By contrast, the only time the world's journalists took note of your inane ramblings was to ask the obvious question: What the fuck is this orange-faced asshole trying to say?

I know you're probably aware of what PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN is up to, what he is accomplishing, and how he has won the respect and admiration of the entire world - so this isn't news to you.

No Such Thing

The Republican party is corrupt to its core.

From promoting the Big Lie to suppressing the vote, from waging war on women's rights to kow-towing to a Putin-loving ass-kisser who tried to overturn our democracy, their agenda is obvious.

It is time to stop excusing the people who vote for GOPers as low info, ill-educated patsies who simply don't know who they are electing, and why.

After the past five-plus years, there is no such thing as a Republican voter who truly believes that a narcissistic orange-faced baboon who bragged about grabbing women by the pussy was chosen by God to do the Lord's work.

There is no such thing as a Republican voter who doesn't understand that their party tried to overthrow the US government on January 6, 2021, nor is there a Republican voter who can claim ignorance of the intended purpose and consequences of that event.

There is no such thing as a Republican voter who is simply too stupid to recognize that the people they elect to represent them are self-serving racists whose only interest is money and political power.

The days of the oblivious, "I had no idea who/what I was voting for" Republican voters are over - and it's time to stop pretending that they were bamboozled, led astray, and ultimately misled by sleezy politicians who told them exactly what they stood for at every turn.

If you vote Republican, if you elect proven liars to office, if you support their anti-democratic agenda, you are NOT an innocent bystander - you are complicit.

I, for one, do not want to hear another word about those poor misled voters who hide behind their own feigned ignorance in order to absolve themselves of consciously and deliberately supporting a party that is corrupt to its core - and proves it on a daily basis.

CONFIRMED

Ketanji Brown Jackson's confirmation hearing is meant to assess her qualifications to be appointed a Supreme Court justice.

What is has instead confirmed is that Republicans are completely unqualified when it comes to acting civilly, morally, and ethically - and that by virtue of their behaviour, they should be disqualified from holding any office whatsoever.

Of course it comes as no surprise that the party that confirmed a man whose entire confirmation hearing was rife with temper-tantrums, anger-laden outbursts, and bizarre comments about "liking beer" - and yet was considered to be just the kind of even-tempered, sober-minded jurist who should sit on the highest court in the land.

Confirmed: Republicans are corrupt, morally bankrupt racists whose only chance of survival is ensuring that their corrupt, morally bankrupt, racist adherents can watch them belittle an "uppity black woman" when the opportunity presents itself.

Jesus Facing Multiple Charges

Jesus Christ (aka The Saviour, Prince of Peace, Son of God) is facing multiple charges in several states.

Described as a "swarthy, Middle-Eastern-looking man", Jesus has been targeted as an obvious imposter by Christian leaders who insist that the real Jesus is a blue-eyed white man - and have produced numerous paintings to back up their claims.

Authorities are baffled by the man's ability to make appearances all over the country. Major airlines have attributed this to masking requirements, which can lead to anonymity while traveling.

The so-called "Jesus" has reportedly shown up in several US states to explain that his admonitions to feed the hungry, care for the sick, and shelter the homeless are being ignored by the people who claim to be his most ardent adherents - prompting his immediate expulsion from Trump rallies and other MAGA events.

Prominent Republicans were quick to denounce "Jesus". Marjorie Taylor-Greene stated unequivocally that this was not the man who was crucified in Calgary, and Lauren Boebert declared that "the imposter" was just another disgruntled military man who had failed to reach the rank of Lieutenant Corporal.

Other GOPers were not available for comment, having pled their Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination that could lead to the loss of their immortal souls.

As of this writing, Jesus Christ has been cited as a treasonous seditionist for proclaiming that we are "our brothers' keepers", along with other nefarious preachings that go against the GOP's long-held belief that it is the rich, the politically powerful, and the corrupt that shall inherit the earth - those namby-pamby meek be damned.

In a show of complete arrogance, Jesus has decided to represent himself in all pending court proceedings, in hopes that His Message of peace and understanding will sway judges and juries alike.

So-called "Christians" across the country doubt that Jesus Christ himself can persuade anyone with his "treat your fellow men as you would wish to be treated" bullshit, and are confident that He will be crucified - as soon as some Red State can pass legislation allowing such punishment.

Pet Political Peeve

When Trump says something ridiculous, unhinged, and totally insane, it drives me up a wall when someone immediately attempts to explain that he's acting in furtherance of some elaborate scheme that we are all just too politically naive to understand.

Trump is not "crazy like a fox" - he's just crazy. And so are the idiots who still support him.

Trump is not a mastermind - he's losing his mind, or what's left of it.

Trump is not playing chess while we dumb Democrats are playing checkers - he's playing his MAGA-naughts for every penny they're willing to fork over.

"He knows exactly what he's doing!" No, he doesn't. He's doing what he thinks will line his own pockets - and that's where his "brilliance" ends. It's not about a means to a political end - it's about a political means to raise enough cash to keep his head above the financial tidal wave that's engulfing him.

I expect to hear the Trump spawn describing how Daddy was "playing" the dictators he was kow-towing to. I expect to hear his GOP enablers Trump-splainin' his idiocy as political brilliance.

What I don't understand is anyone who has an ounce of political savvy promoting the idea that there is some deeper political meaning in the statements that a dementia-ridden con-man utters on a daily basis.

There is no "there" there. And trying to read some behind-the-scenes political strategy into the ravings of a lunatic is as covfeve as it gets.

The people who are promoting laws that prevent women from having abortions, or from leaving the state in order to do so, or threatening legal action against parents of trans children, are the same people who wanted to bar Muslims from entering the US because they'd bring the draconian edicts of Sharia Law with them.

Any bets on which state will be the first to push for legislation that allows a father to drown his daughter in the backyard pool as punishment for 'dishonouring the family' by showing her ankles?

Anne Frank committed those word to her diary on July 15, 1944, less than a month before she and her family were arrested and sent to concentration camps - where she, her mother, and her sister eventually died.

I think of Anne a lot these days. It is impossible to not be amazed by her faith in her fellow man, given what she knew, what she heard, what she'd witnessed during her years in hiding from those determined to annihilate her and her 'race'.

I think of Anne when I see photos of baby strollers lined-up at railway stations, left by the citizens of neighbouring countries to assist Ukranian mothers with small children who might have need of them when they arrive.

I think of Anne when I see people of bordering countries lining up their cars to take Ukrainian refugees to safe shelters - even to their own homes.

I think of Anne when I see the leaders of nations speak in one voice to say what happened then will not happen again.

The legacy of a frightened, but determined teenager lives on decades after her schoolgirl scribblings made their way into a diary - personal notes, never meant for public consumption, that speak to the heart of the matter decades later.

"I still believe, in spite of everything, that people are truly good at heart."

If we allow ourselves to lose sight of that vision, we are truly lost.

Makes Me SMILE

Right now, the Lyin' King of Mara-Lardo is watching the entire world cheer President Zelenskyy - and you know it's absolutely killing him!

Zelenskyy - the man Trump tried to extort, tried to strong-arm into submission - is being lauded around the globe for his courage, his patriotism, and his intelligence, while Corporal BoneSpurs shits himself and cries all over his Big Mac.

And of course, the comparison of Trump to Zelenskyy is unavoidable, and the real leader is beyond obvious.
Zelenskyy is everything Trump has never been: loved by his countrymen, respected by world leaders, and worshipped as a true hero - while Lil' Mushroom Dick is rendered irrelevant as the sniveling coward he's always been.

Words can't express how much I am savouring the thought of how furious the Orange Anus must be with how things are unfolding, and having to live with the knowledge that the whole world is laughing at the Bunker Boy who hid in the WH basement when a bunch of protestors showed up outside.

All of the bragging about things like going into a school shooting situation unarmed to save kids from an active gunman - well, they're all just punchlines now.

These days, I have to find things that put a smile on my face - and this is definitely one that does the trick.

Tonight in Ukraine, there are people who are fighting to save their democracy.

Tonight in the US, there are people still trying to undermine our democracy.

Tonight in Ukraine, there are people losing their lives in order to defend their country.

Tonight in the US, there are people defending the indefensible for fear of losing ratings/votes.

Tonight in Ukraine, there are parents praying that their children live long enough to go back to school.

Tonight in the US, there are parents insisting that prayer in school is more important than an actual education.

Tonight in Ukraine, citizens are standing up to defend their cities, their towns, their villages.

Tonight in the US, there are so-called 'citizens' defending those who assaulted our Capitol, and everything it stands for.

Tonight in Ukraine, the populace is rallying around a President who has proven himself to be a true hero whose only interest is the well-being of his countrymen.

Tonight in the US, there are people anxious to attend the next rally for a 'pResident' who has proven himself to be a corrupt coward whose only interest is himself.

Tonight in Ukraine, people are putting their lives at risk in order to speak the truth.

Tonight in the US, there are people still promoting the Big Lie - the truth be damned.

Tonight in Ukraine, ordinary people are doing extraordinary things - for their nation, for their freedom, and their countrymen.

Tonight in the US, there are people who are still whining about having to wear a mask at the grocery store - because their 'freedom' to spread a deadly virus is more important than protecting their fellow citizens.

Tonight in Ukraine, an example is being set - one that the freedom-loving world can learn from.

Tonight in the US, the Putin-loving ass-kissers and the Trump-loving ass-kissers are being revealed as being one and the same - people who will do anything to convince the country that fighting for democracy is lost cause.

Thanks to the people of Ukraine, we are learning what the fight looks like - and how important that fight is.
