So this happened

I was driving home from the mall and almost missed my turn. By the time I realized it, the right turn lane was full of cars and I cut in as as unaggressively as possible. Or so I thought.

The driver I got in front of honked at me loudly. I turned and the same driver was now following me, laying on her horn. I slowed as she came to my left and rolled down her passenger window, shouting.

Triggered, I shouted back and so the two of us drove side by side shouting at and cussing each other. We reached a stoplight, exchanging some choice words. The light changed. The two of us headed for the next light .

I took a breath and when I caught up to her, at the second light, something had come over me.

In a few seconds I was able to regroup and decide that I didn’t want to let this incident become another story of anger and hatred in this fucked up world.

She rolled down her window at the second light ready to argue some more. “You got something else to say?“ she asked. ‘Yes’ I said. ‘I’m sorry.’ Her eyes widened. “Really? And again I said ‘yes.’ We each saw the humanity in one another for a brief moment. She looked at me and we both drove away calmly.

I wish us all the opportunity to see the humanity in one another in these troubling times.

SVB Disaster: Trump repealed bank regulations in 2018 despite Dem warnings

Wonder when the Republican Owned Media will report this.

In a nutshell, the historical crisis is sparked by Fed rate hikes which are driving bond values down.

Banks like SVB are overly invested in bonds thanks to Republicans’ Free Choice Act which eliminated restrictions on lenders speculating with FDIC backed funds. Bond value declines led to irretrievable losses. with the FDIC holding the bag literally. No telling how many other banks are in the same position.

Defendants named in the filing include the Department of Justice, FBI, former Special Counsel Robert Muller, former FBI Director James Comey, and former FBI employees Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. The suit argues that Flynn was unfairly targeted by federal investigators because of his “lawful association with the 2016 Presidential campaign of Donald J. Trump and his position as National Security Advisor in the Trump Administration.”

The suit also paints Flynn as a “hands-on disruptor at DIA” who had publicly criticized the “the politicization of the intelligence community.” The filing alleges that the FBI and prosecutors working under special counsel Robert Mueller, targeted him for political reasons and considered him a “direct threat” to “exposing their prior and ongoing efforts to derail and discredit President Trump.”

Flynn’s suit also claims that the government coerced him into a plea by threatening prosecution of his son. “As a direct and proximate result of Defendant’s actions, General Flynn suffered harm,” the filing alleges.

Since his departure from the Trump administration Flynn has become a prominent figure within the QAnon conspiracy movement, and a central ally and advocate to Trump’s claims of fraud in the 2020 election.
