And so we have now heard the Republican nominee for president of the United States bragging about repeated sexual assault.
Donald Trump a man who aspires to represent the highest ideals of the nation to his fellow citizens and the world is heard on a videotape obtained by The Washington Post talking about how he would force himself on women. He could even grab them between their legs, he boasted.
And when youre a star they let you do it, he said.
In a statement released after the video became public on Friday, Mr. Trump tried to minimize the conversation as locker room banter. As if the problem were just his words rather than his actions.
I apologize, he added, if anyone was offended.
If?

I wonder when Mrs Trump the third will sue for divorce?
I bet deplorable, despicable, degenerate Donald made her sign a pre nup before marriage.
But now shes got him dead to rights! All her lawyer has to do is play the tape! She can write her own ticket and walk away from the old, flabby perv anytime she wants to!
I bet adultery trumps a pre nup any day!

Listening to science? No way

Florida is hunkering down as a Category 3 hurricane charges up the Atlantic Coast. As of Friday morning, the storms eyewall boasting winds over 100 mph sat just over a dozen miles from land. The storm battered Haiti, where death toll estimates have been as high as 300, and could deliver strong winds and massive storm surges to much of the states east coast. Floridas Republican governor didnt mince words Thursday when he told reporters, this is going to kill people.
And yet, Matt Drudge thinks this is all a big conspiracy.
Rush Limbaugh joined in the conspiracy train Thursday, noting that people shouldnt trust the governments warnings because the government is likely biased. He said that the government was inflating the fears of the storms damage. He said people shouldnt worry, because his house was hit by Hurricane Wilma in 2005 and was just fine.

Late Thursday afternoon, monstrous Hurricane Matthew was just hours away from a likely devastating impact with Florida. It was a time when meteorologists, emergency managers and politicians of all persuasions were joining to deliver a simple, clear message in the spirit of keeping people safe: Take this storm seriously, and prepare.
Yet the popular Drudge Report website, visited by a massive audience, including vulnerable Floridians, was casting doubt on the severity of the Category 4 storm. In big, bold all-capital letters, it said the storm was ragged and suggested it could be fizzling. It made this proclamation at the same time the National Hurricane Center was calling for potentially disastrous impacts in Florida.
Drudges contradictory message was not only infuriating to meteorologists who knew the dangerous storm was holding its own, but it may also have put peoples lives at risk.

Doug Schneider and Shelby Le Duc, Green Bay (Wis.) Press-Gazette 1:42 a.m. EDT October 7, 2016
GREEN BAY, Wis. Calling Donald Trump a divider who wants to give hundreds of millions in tax cuts to the rich, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders urged voters in Green Bay Wednesday to support Democrat Hillary Clinton for president.
To repeated ovations, the Vermont senator told a crowd estimated at more than 600 that they need to support Clinton to ensure America's future.
"We are stronger when we stand together," Sanders said to cheers. "We should be proud of our diversity. It makes us a stronger people. Hillary Clinton wants to bring us together. Donald Trump wants to divide us up."

Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson is fading in the polls, giving a boost to Hillary Clinton.
Johnson has suffered through weeks of terrible headlines that have raised questions about his fitness to be commander in chief.
Most notably, the former New Mexico governor couldnt name a foreign leader he respected in one television interview and in another asked, What is Aleppo? in response to a question about the besieged Syrian city.
Democrats have gone on the attack, using Clinton surrogates President Obama and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) to make the argument that a vote for Johnson is a vote for Donald Trump.

DEMOCRATS ARE GROWING MORE ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT CLINTON - Kathy Frankovic: Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton not only won last weeks first presidential debate, but according to the latest Economist/YouGov Poll, she managed to raise the enthusiasm of her supporters, erase some doubts about her health and stamina, and outscore Republican Donald Trump on a series of presidential qualities, including temperament, qualifications and even appearance.
The debate made little impact on vote preference Clinton led Trump by three points among registered voters before the debate in a four-way contest, and she led Trump by the same margin afterwards. 43% say they will vote for Clinton in the four-way contest this week, while 40% favor Trump. But Clintons supporters clearly are feeling better about her candidacy now than they were before the debate.
They are now just as likely as Trumps voters to say they are enthusiastic about their partys nominee. Last week, there was a 13-point gap in enthusiasm. The enthusiasm gap narrowed not only because Clintons voters are happier with her candidacy. The percentage of Trump voters who say they are enthusiastic about his position as the GOP nominee dropped six points after the debate. [YouGov]

Now the company behind the emergency allergic reaction treatment is under additional scrutiny.
10/06/2016 02:17 am ET By Bill Berkrot Reuters
U.S. government health plans spent more than $1 billion on Mylan NVs EpiPen emergency allergic reaction treatment between 2011 and 2015, according to figures released by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services on Wednesday.
Mylan is under scrutiny for raising prices on the lifesaving EpiPen sixfold in less than a decade, making the devices unaffordable for a growing number of families. U.S. lawmakers and prosecutors are also investigating what impact Mylans EpiPen pricing has had on government-funded health programs.
Klobuchar and other lawmakers contend that Mylan underpaid rebates to state Medicaid programs by misclassifying EpiPen as a generic instead of a branded drug. The Medicaid rebate for a generic is 13 percent compared with a minimum 23.1 percent for a branded drug.

It wasnt just 1995.
Five years of tax information from the 1970s that Donald Trump provided to the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety show mismanagement and losses that could have pushed him into personal bankruptcybut for the largesse of his Dad.
The recent report in The New York Times that a loss of almost $1 billion in 1995 may have allowed Donald Trump to avoid federal income taxes for almost 20 years set off attacks by Democrats and pushbacks by Republicans over his business acumen and ability to identify with Americans who pony up cash to the government every April 15.
