Equal Protection

After all of the wasted tax dollars and YEARS expended to eliminate the Affordable Health Care Act (ie., Obama Care) the citizens of this great nation are yet again fearful. All of the citizens are afraid. Whether you are afraid of loosing your health care or afraid that "Obama Care" will survive you are either concerned for the millions deprived of heath care or that you will have to pay for someone else's DNC.

The Graham-Cassidy proposal, apparently the 60th + attempt and maybe the "final" GOP's to ensure that their constituents no longer have to pay for medical treatment covering "other" (non-white, non-gay, non-american and non-Christians) people.

However, the GOP's sickening attempt to breath life into their stitched-together "Frankenstein" cadaver is being done so by violating the language and intent of the Equal Protection Clause.

Further, by diluting health care funds by spreading it out to the individual states, abuse of these funds, like say in Wisconsin, would directly decrease the efficacy of the service received by those most in need.

Blue states will undoubtedly retain the protections afforded to all citizens under the AHCA.

Lindsey, can you make the same claim for Red states?

About Cartaphilus

Firm believer that all corporations are as open to the same extent that corporations demand of the government. Then they must be allowed to exist when they, corporations, agree, in writing, that they are not living entities entitled to the same rights as Homo Sapiens. Equally as important is corporations, at no time and under no circumstance, are allowed to endanger the citizens nor the commons citizens inhabit. Any attempt, covert or otherwise to affect these rules by any means will be grounds for the immediate disillusion of said corporation(s) with all assets becoming the property of the commons. Lastly, when it is established, any and all elected or appointed officials that violate their sworn Oath of Office, they be removed and prosecuted for their violation(s) to the full extent of the law. Anything less is violates the Rule of Law of which is the foundation of our nation.
