One observation, Trump thinks he is smarter than the opposition.
With that view, he thinks he can get away with anything. Here are a few that oppose him: Ted Lieu, Nancy Pelosi, Robert Mueller, Adam Schiff, etc. etc. etc. Trump is totally wrong on that, and he will pay the price.

President Trump defended his rhetoric and proclivity for falsehoods in an interview with ABC News on Thursday.
White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl questioned Trump about his campaign promise to “never lie” to the American public. “Can you tell me now, honestly, have you kept that promise at all times?” Karl asked. “Have you always been truthful?”
In replying, Trump claimed that he does “try” to tell the truth, pointing out that he thinks Karl tries too. “You say things about me that are not necessarily correct,” Trump said. “I do try, and I always want to tell the truth. When I can, I tell the truth.”
“And sometimes it turns out to be where something happens that’s different or there’s a change, but I always like to be truthful,” he added.

Washington (CNN) — House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff has hired officials with experience at the National Security Council to help with his panel's oversight of President Donald Trump's administration, according to a committee aide.
The aide declined to say how recently the newly hired officials worked at the council, whether they served under Trump or to identify the individuals. But the move appears to have enraged the President and some members of his senior staff, who view the move as an intrusion. It comes as Democrats prepare to wield new investigative power after winning a House majority in 2018.
Trump fumed on Twitter Thursday about the recently launched investigations led by the Democratic intelligence chair and suggested he was raiding the White House staff.

Junk Mail Information: Yesterday I got one that I had NEVER GOTTEN BEFORE!!!!!
...I have gotten them all. Every kind you can think of. Don't even go there, I have gotten them. So, yesterday there was one from an organization that had never before sent me a piece of junk mail. The organization that was new to my junk mail collection was/is...NRA.
....The National Rifle Association sent me a letter with a beautiful cover in yellow, red and more colors. I have not opened it yet, Perhaps I will request more information, so they can waste their funds. I just wanted to share this information in the lounge. I have been getting Junk Mail for more than 50 years. This is a first!!! Had to let you know.

A Very Short Story Of 3 Speeches.
A. Last night the "idiot" talked for over an hour..maybe an hour and twenty minutes?..for what??
....Lies, stupidity, innuendo ???I didn't see it. And frankly I don't care..I didn't miss anything..Did I?
B. Edward Everett spoke at a dedication for about two hours. This was during the Civil War, and Everett who was brought in to do a speech as the principal orator, and he was well known as a great orator . He spoke at the dedication of the Gettysburg Battlefield.
C. The third speaker, President Abraham Lincoln, spoke for about 2 and half minutes. (272 words) at the same battlefield that Everett spoke at.. His speech is remembered as the Gettysburg Address.
