One of the most incredible ideas about 1/6 Insurrection:"Trump was sure that it would be successful"

Here is the main point, You don't spend a lot of time planning an event like 1/6 without believing it would be successful.
The Trump crowd never expected or saw the possibility of failure. Failure is what is going on now. Hearings, people
going to prison, possible high level Trumpers going to prison, people killed, national investigations, video of events,
and so on. Those that planned this thought they would be "successful." Trump was watching on TV, because he
thought everything would turn out in his favor. He expected Pence to go along with the deal. Everything would
be fine when over. Trump would stay in office indefinitely. Of course, he was delusional, but that is at the heart
of the entire story. If Trump knew what was going on, & if he was involved in the planning, (even some of the
planning) then he is, was totally nuts. Thinking he could pull this off, successfully, is the sign of a very deranged
person, and that he could convince others that this could be pulled off, is a sign that they, (all followers, and
going alongers). that they were deranged too.

When hearings are over, & proven that Trump was behind the coup attempt, will he be prosecuted?

Others are being prosecuted, will Donald Trump be prosecuted for inciting a riot that killed people?
After all, inciting a riot is against the law....ain't it?

Here is Trump's 7 part plan discussed by Liz Cheney

"President Trump oversaw a sophisticated seven-part plan to overturn the 2020 election and prevent the transition of presidential
power.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________

1. President Trump engaged in a massive effort to spread false and fraudulent information to the American public claiming the 2020 election was stolen from him.

2. President Trump corruptly planned to replace the Acting Attorney General, so that the Department of Justice would support his fake election claims.

3. President Trump corruptly pressured Vice President Pence to refuse to count certified electoral votes in violation of the U.S. Constitution and the law.

4. President Trump corruptly pressured state election officials, and state legislators, to change election results.

5. President Trump's legal team and other Trump associates instructed Republicans in multiple states to create false electoral slates and transmit those slates to Congress and the National Archives.

6. President Trump summoned and assembled a violent mob in Washington and directed them to march on the U.S. Capitol.

7.As the violence was underway, President Trump ignored multiple pleas for assistance and failed to take immediate action to stop the violence and instruct his supporters to leave the Capitol.

You can find the 7 part plan, at link below. After hitting the link, then scroll down in order to see this plan:

An opinion: Merrick Garland and Letitia James will get Trump.

They will convict him. Yes, it will take time, and the everything needs to be
as perfect as can be, but that is why it has taken so long for the indictments, and that is also
my opinion.

.....So, you do not think that Trump broke the law?..Is he the kind of person that thinks he can get away with
anything? Prosecutors often like to get characters like that. Those are the people that think they are ....above the
law.
.... Is Trump one of those?

Bottom Line: "It will take time but they will get him."

One more thing about the Jan 6 insurrection: "The planners of 1/6 never expected to be caught, NEVER

EXPECTED TO BE CAUGHT.

...The planners were reasonably sure that they would be successful. They had planned the entire thing out.........
.......(I think that will be found out at the hearings). They also thought Pence would go along with it.
.......They were wrong on several counts. We are all very lucky, except for the planners and those that
worked with the planners. And they will be found out too. Over the long haul. Guess who was so distorted
that he thought it would be successful. Not going to identify who I think was that way, but everyone can have
their own prospect as to who might that will be...
...........My guess is that will all know who that same person is...., and he knew about this ahead of time, I think)

And if he did, then that was/is/and totally will be ...........'ILLEGAL"...........(that is why he turned the channels trying
to find out when this action was going to succeed)====MY OPINION ONLY...NO PROOF TO THAT ASSUMPTION, ........

.................................JUST AN OPINION

CNN Comment. "....To date, there have been more than 200 mass shootings in 2022"

The House holds a hearing to examine the gun violence epidemic in the United States. To date, there have been more than 200 mass shootings in 2022.

What is to examine?..Bann assault weapons, make guns more difficult to attain..

Come November's election, Gun Issue, becomes the "Main Issue"Republican Party, Temporarily Destroyed

...No, not permanent..just for this election. I worked for McGovern in 72, he lost by incredible margin...

...but a moderate Democrat won in 76.. That was the show. I never thought we could win after that
incredible loss in 72.
