Fake Mueller Report book now on Amazon, author is "Justice Dept"

amazon needs to to pull this. I have requested that in the place below the sales prices where it says to "report incorrect information".

this thread by Seth Abramson details why it is a fake:

This is Team Trump's first assault on the Mueller Report, which is to have an ally—someone who advised Trump, and has socialized with him and friends of his (e.g. Epstein)—smear the report with an "introduction" to it presumably written *now*, before the report even comes out.

By putting a date certain (March 26) on the book—a fake date that's preposterous in no small part because the content of the Report will be litigated for months before it reaches the public (if it ever does)—Trumpworld is also trying to build public impatience for the Report.

Cyrus Vance Jr. also dropped fraud charges against Ivanka in 2012.

You know, the guy that gave Acosta the get out of jail free card.

ProPublica reported on this in Oct. of 2017, I missed seeing it and figure may be others did also.

Now that Sater has popped up into the news, the story has been mentioned again.

It involved e-mail evidence of fraudulent plotting between Ivanka and Dim Son Jr. to lie about sales of trump SoHo building.

Dolt 45 sent lawyer Marc Kasowitz to fix the problem. Money exchanged hands between Kasowitz and Vance. Charges were dismissed.

edited to add: Their partners on the SO Ho project included two Soviet-born businessmen, Felix Sater and Tevfik Arif, who ran the Bayrock Group, a real estate development firm.

the building did poorly until the name was changed from Trump to the Dominick.)

A Common Household Ingredient Might Sabotage Your Antibiotics

https://gizmodo.com/a-common-household-ingredient-might-sabotage-your-antib-1832831414

In 2017, the Food and Drug Administration finalized its ban of triclosan and similar chemicals from being used in consumer soaps marketed as antimicrobial. The agency cited evidence showing antimicrobial soaps with these ingredients don’t seem to prevent illness or even kill bacteria any better than a typical bar of soap and hot water. Even more worrying is a growing pile of research showing that triclosan can actually help create bacterial superbugs.

It’s thought that the way triclosan stops bacteria is too similar to how many antibiotics do the job. So bacteria that evolve resistance to triclosan also learn how to fend off those drugs. That’s definitely bad news, because triclosan eventually ends up everywhere in our environment, where it can promote broad antibiotic resistance.

That said, there’s definitely reason to be worried. UTIs, especially among women, are one of the most common infections that we rely on antibiotics to treat. And even with the antimicrobial soap ban, triclosan is still widespread. Other research has found that as many as three-quarters of Americans take in enough triclosan for it to be found in their urine.

Earlier this year, Colgate-Palmolive introduced a triclosan-free version of the Colgate Total toothpaste. While still arguing that the original version, the only U.S. brand of toothpaste approved to carry triclosan, was perfectly safe and better for your dental health than competitors, the company now claims its new version, made with stannous fluoride, “delivers even more benefits.”

If you’re unsure about whether you’re currently using any products that contain triclosan, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has a handy list you can check.

Fed. Elections commission has a very clever Dem. chairperson now...

She's figured out how to bypass Trump's attempt to prevent the FEC from being effective.
The plan is very clever.

Elections Commission Chief Uses the “Nuclear Option” to Rescue the Agency From Gridlock
The agency’s chair says she won’t allow its lawyers to defend it when it’s sued.
It's effectively an effort to sabotage her own agency in order to enforce the law and create more campaign finance disclosure.

According to former FEC Commissioner Ann Ravel, “dysfunction and deadlock” have reigned supreme at the FEC for the past decade, with the agency “failing to enforce campaign finance laws.”

The gridlock at the FEC is partially to blame for the more than $900 million in “dark money” that has flowed into US elections from undisclosed sources since the 2010 Supreme Court Citizens United ruling, which gave corporations, nonprofits, and unions the ability to spend unlimited amounts of money to influence elections. A 2018 Pew Research poll found that 77 percent of Americans want limits on the amount individuals and organizations can spend on political campaigns.

The FEC is supposed to have six commissioners at all times, but there are currently only four: two Republicans, one independent, and Weintraub, a Democrat.
