Things that give you the warm fuzzies.

#Ukraine #Nazi #Bandera One of the "easter Marches" in #Kiev this weekend

To celebrate afterwards they gave visiting Italian neonazis a tour of the Communist Party HQs they trashed.

Things are shaping up. Even Tymoshenko has her own branch of Pravy Sektor now. Its name is the "Yulia Sektor"

And in sad news, the young protester who tried to change the Ukranian flag on an govt building to a Donetsk flag in Gorlovka a few days ago and was thrown off the roof by the Police Chief just died. Video of that event

And that cute little journalist Irma Krat who's being detained in Donetsk right now? The one who was listed in Maidan's website under Pravy Sektor's before the scrubbed it after her detainment? Here she is... This is the photo from her Facebook account, an account that was conveniently, magically deactivated right after her detainment (https://uk-ua.facebook.com/irmakrats+&cd=6&hl=de&ct=clnk&gl=uk" target="_blank">Google Cache doesn't forget)

They found her right after Easter Sunday's Pravy Sector attack on the checkpoint that killed innocent unarmed residents. She had just coincidentally arrived minus camera, computer or any other press equipment with a way out-of-date press card. And all this after Pravy Sector told OSCE that they just sent 100 Pravy Sektor paramilitaries to the Dobletsk area.

The Lviv Team was told by Right Sector activists that they had begun recruiting for their paramilitary structure on 14 April. They said that approximately 100 paramilitaries had already been deployed to Donetsk region and were being trained in the eastern part of the country. One of the paramilitaries seen in Lviv was wearing a new military uniform, including a flak jacket, but carried no weapons.

Things that give you the warm fuzzies that the Western Press is deliberately hiding. They're determined to get their war on.

"Indeed, in my four-plus decades in journalism, I have never seen a more thoroughly biased and misleading performance by the major U.S. news media. Even during the days of Ronald Reagan – when much of the government’s modern propaganda structure was created – there was more independence in major news outlets. There were media stampedes off the reality cliff during George H.W. Bush’s Persian Gulf War and George W. Bush’s Iraq War, both of which were marked by demonstrably false claims that were readily swallowed by the big U.S. news outlets.

But there is something utterly Orwellian in the current coverage of the Ukraine crisis, including accusing others of “propaganda” when their accounts – though surely not perfect – are much more honest and more accurate than what the U.S. press corps has been producing.

There’s also the added risk that this latest failure by the U.S. press corps is occurring on the border of Russia, a nuclear-armed state that – along with the United States – could exterminate all life on the planet. The biased U.S. news coverage is now feeding into political demands to send U.S. military aid to Ukraine’s coup regime.

The casualness of this propaganda – as it spreads across the U.S. media spectrum from Fox News to MSNBC, from the Washington Post to the New York Times – is not just wretched journalism but it is reckless malfeasance jeopardizing the lives of many Ukrainians and the future of the planet."

Irma Krat, who said Pravy Sektor photo was 'just a photo', says here she respects Russian language -

This is the photo reference is the heading photo on her Facebook page

The background image on her Facebook page shows her standing with a group of men in yellow arm bands marked with a sign resembling the Wolfsangel, an emblem associated with the neo-Nazi movement. Set against a yellow background, the black Wolfsangel is also used by the ultranationalist group Patriots of Ukraine, whose members joined the forces of Right Sector during the revolution. Although Krat’s friends deny that she has ties to neo-Nazism or Right Sector, they say she was the founder of the so-called “women’s hundred,” the only female detachment of revolutionary guards to help protect the protest camp and its barricades in Kiev. That fact, combined with her apparent sympathizes for the nationalist movement, would be enough to make her a target for the pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine.

http://time.com/69910/ukraine-separatists-take-prisoners/

But what's not mentioned in the Western press is that Irma Krat is the founder of one of the core 40 Maidan '100 units' known as the the Zhinocha Sotnia (the Women 100) and showed up in Sloviansk right when the checkpoint attack happened and had no camera or any other journalist equipment, not to mention the outdated press card.

People can scoff all they want but the hard right is on record for sending 100 activists to the region and the Pravij activist Sloviansk captured a few days ago said in his statement that he was expecting to meet other right wing activists there.

You're in LUCK! They've got personal IDs too

Yarosh's business card isn't a personal one, just a card to the main Pravij Sector HQs in Kiev with their general email address and phone number. Yarosh's name is just emblazoned on the top as the leader for PR. It's a common card that's been seen before, like a Walmart card to the GM you can grab at the counter. .

However, they also have a participant of the attacks in custody and 2 personal ID cards, this is a partial view one. There are better, high-resolution shots of front and back of the 2 cards they found at the scene but I'm not going to waste my time looking for them because you'd just find some other reason like a smudge in the wrong place and I believe my time is better spent elsewhere. Just letting you know they're out there.

bad shot that I have up on my screen right now, take it or leave it knowing it's gonna be the latter.

Captured "nationalist" confessing his participation in the Sloviansk checkpoint attack

Lifenews.ru video showing a captured "nationalist" confessing his participation in the Slavyansk checkpoint attack:

Captured member of the "right sector" says he asked Right Sector militants not to go to Slavyiansk

Translation:

Nationalist who attacked a checkpoint in the south-east says he advised the other radicals not to come to the region with weapons.

Self-defense activists in Slavyiansk detained one of the radicals of the "right sector", who participated in the April 20 attack of the checkpoint on unarmed self-defense forces.

The detainee - a resident of the city of Vinnytsia, Vitaliy Kovalchuk, - caught "a ride" and was trying to escape but the local self-defense forces managed to stop his vehicle.

...

Kovalchuk lived on the Maidan in Kiev for a few months. There he met with other nationalists. He admitted that he met with his future accomplices there but that it was before the first shots had been fired in the Ukrainian capital. He says he didn't fire on any (Donetsk) residents and that his weapon was only for self defense. He says the only shooting he's ever done has been on plates.

All the nationalists involved paid for their own way (to Donetsk). They each paid for their own way from Kiev to Kharkiv because it was a private initiative to come here, - he explained.

Kovalchuk assures that if he's released, he'll immediately talk with like-minded people and strongly discourage them from visiting the south-east of the country. "My friends from the "right sector" died here, they're not playing with them here. Everything is real. Here is war", he added "People here are defending their land, protecting their homes, and they are right."

Kiev saying this was "an argument between local criminal groups"

A Ukrainian official said it may have been a shootout between criminals. Nationalists have denied involvement.

...

Viktoriya Siumar, deputy head of Ukraine's National Security Council, told the BBC that the shooting was being investigated, but said there were indications that it was "an argument between local criminal groups".

"The level of criminality in eastern Ukraine increased substantially recently," he added.

This is the first fatal incident in the region since Thursday's agreement, prompting Sloviansk rebel leader and self-proclaimed mayor Vyacheslav Ponomarev to call on Russian President Vladimir Putin to send peacekeepers. He also asked for food and weapons.

Russia on Eastern Ukraine shooting: Kiev must fulfill Geneva de-escalation pledge

Russia on Eastern Ukraine shooting: Kiev must fulfill Geneva de-escalation pledge

Photo from twitter.com user @GrahamWP_UK

The Russian Foreign Ministry expressed outrage over the deadly gun battle on Saturday night in the protester-held city of Slavyansk in eastern Ukraine. It said Kiev must deliver on its commitment to de-escalate the violence.

Russia, Ukraine, the US and the EU agreed this week in Geneva on a roadmap to calm tension down in protest-gripped eastern Ukraine. The agreement includes disarmaming paramilitary groups on both sides of the conflict.

...

Moscow condemned the violence on Sunday and said it indicates Kiev’s unwillingness to implement the Geneva agreement.

“The Russian side is outraged with the provocation, which indicates that Kiev is unwilling to put in check and disarm nationalists and extremists,” the ministry said in a statement.

The ministry added that Moscow “insists on the strict implementation by the Ukrainian side of its commitments to de-escalate the situation in southeastern Ukraine.”

Some details. 4 SUVs, machine gun, pravij sector badge, aerial maps...

Slavyansk Self Defense roadblock was attacked by people without insignia, who started to shoot from cars approaching roadblock.
They killed three unarmed self defense helpers, then self defense arrived, killed two of the attackers and captured the cars.

Right Sector insignia found inside of cars and lots of advanced weaponry, not army issued.

http://www.rbc.ru/rbcfreenews/20140420075923.shtml

Found in their cars were advanced weaponry like plastic explosives, night vision goggles and other stuff.

In Slavyansk "Right sector" attacked a checkpoint and killed three people. At the time of the attack there were only 26 unarmed locals who were on duty at the checkpoint.

The gunmen pulled up in four SUVs, ran out of the car and opened fire on everyone who was at the checkpoint. As a result, three people died on the spot. Many fled into the woods to escape. The militia is combing the territory looking for the other attackers. The attackers knew there was no militia there and that the people at the checkpoints would be unarmed.

At the sound of shots, the Donetsk militia came and managed to repulse the attack. Two of the attackers were killed.
When they searched the dead radicals they found "right sector" certificates, Dmitri Yarosh business cards, sniper ammunition and a large arsenal of weapons.

Yep. 86 Euromaidan militants at the Police Training Center

The Polish defence ministry categorically denied they had anything to do with training Maidan and now this comes out

Polish media outlet Nie has published a bombshell account about direct Polish involvement in Ukraine’s destabilization. Its source alleges that the Polish Foreign Ministry had invited Ukrainian militants into the country and trained them outside of Warsaw in September 2013.

....

According to the report, 86 Euromaidan militants, some of whom appeared to be over 40 years old, came to Poland under the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The pretext for plausible deniability was that they were in the country to promote cooperation between the Warsaw University of Technology and the National Technical University in Kiev. In reality, however, these individuals were whisked away to Legionowo, a town on the outskirts of Warsaw. There, at the police training center, they spent four weeks engaged in a regiment of destabilization training.

The source goes on to state that pictures of the participants show them clothed in Nazi regalia and tattoos, with their Polish military instructors lacking any outward identification as such. At the facility, militants learned the following techniques: crowd management; target identification; tactics; leadership; behavioural management under stressful conditions; protection against police gasses; building barricades; and importantly, they engaged in shooting classes, which incidentally included sniper rifles. Quite clearly, the “students” who came to Warsaw were there for war, not academic work, and their training there resulted in the christening of Bandera’s spiritual descendants.

This part stuck out from the embedded link above

[div class="excerpt" ]Vova pulls out the computer and shows me a series of documents, videos and photos from the training held here (in Legionowo, at the Police Training Center). Almost each one shows the same type of men: bald, tattooed thugs like the recently murdered Sashka Bily (real name Oleksandr Muzychko) from the Right Sector. Through the sweaty t-shirts can be seen tattooes of swastikas, eagles or runes. Between the "students" from the East scrolling in various poses are men in balaclavas. This - Vova says - are the Polish instructors. There are of course (not) wearing any symbols indicating that they are representatives of our armed forces, but just look at the wall and you can see this training is taking place in Legionowo. There's a large sign "Police Legionowo" and hanging on the wall is a portrait of Chief (of Police).

The Ukrainians trained long and passionately. Day 1 and 2 - Accommodation, acclimatization and light exercise. Day 3 and 4 - Theoretical: crowd management, choice of target, tactics and leadership. Day 5 - Training of behavior in stressful situations. Day 6 - Free but restricted to the campus. Day 7 - Preclinical. Day 8 - Protection against irritating gases. Day 9 - Building barricades.

And so on, and on, for nearly 25 days. In real hits : repeatedly recurring classes on marksmanship (including three with sniper rifles!), Tactical and practical training on storming buildings, and even - pay attention! - Meeting with representatives of the Polish organizations Kibicowskich (football/soccer) and Patriotyczny, the Patriotic Movement for National Rebirth."

Ukraine's Chief Rabbi: "Antisemitic flyer 'by Donetsk People's Republic' in Ukraine a hoax"

Antisemitic flyer 'by Donetsk People's Republic' in Ukraine a hoax

City's chief rabbi states pamphlet is fake, claiming it is meant to discredit pro-Russian protesters or Jewish community

...

US secretary of state John Kerry soon waded into the media storm over the piece of paper, describing it as "grotesque" and "beyond unacceptable". But on Friday the chairman of the Donetsk People's Republic and the city's chief rabbi both stated that the flyer was a fake meant to discredit the so-called republic or the Jewish community.

...

"I think it's someone trying to use the Jewish community in Donetsk as an instrument in this conflict. That's why we're upset," the chief rabbi, Pinchas Vishedski, told journalists on Friday.

According to Jewish community members at Donetsk's only synagogue, which was founded 110 years ago, three masked men walked up to worshippers standing on the street after a Passover service on Wednesday and tried to distribute the flyers. They wore no insignia and quickly left when asked to identify themselves.

...

When seen by the Guardian on Friday, several aspects of the document immediately called into question its legitimacy. Pushilin is officially the chairman of the temporary government and has avoided being labelled its governor or leader. Also, the Donetsk People's Republic stamp shown there is poor quality and a different size than normally used, and the order is not signed.

...

"We were alarmed but now things have calmed down," said worshipper Ari Schwartz.
