Catherina's JournalI don'y know if they did (I don't watch the MSM). RT covered it
it was extensively planned for and talked about through grassroots channels. The next one is on Monday. The right wing is in full attack mode over this. Fox covered it to sneer at & their minions are all over social media attacking.
CBS reported on it too

Known as the Million Student March, the demonstrations happening Thursday at schools from Massachusetts to Hawaii were inspired by remarks Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders made in June.
The Democratic presidential candidate said Republicans in Congress would be forced to tackle the student debt problem if a million young people marched on Washington.

Most of the events were planned at public universities and colleges, although a few private colleges organized rallies to show support.
CBS Philadelphia reports that in Philly, students from Drexel, the University of Pennsylvania, Temple, the Community College of Philadelphia and area high schools were marching from their respective school to City Hall on Thursday.

Students at 110 college campuses across the country planned to walk out of class Thursday to march for an affordable education.
The aptly named Million Student March has been months in the making, inspired by national campaigns to boost minimum wages, explained Beth Huang, a coordinator for the Student Labor Action Project (SLAP), an initiative of a labor union and foundation-funded group called Jobs with Justice.

White House hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) has been one of the most vocal advocates for lowering the cost of college on the campaign trail, proposing a cost-share agreement in which states would pony up $1 for every $2 the federal government invests in higher education.
Something Sanders said about how to bring student debt to an end was what gave organizers the idea for the march.
...
Although Sanders inspired the movement, organizers say theyre not backing him or any other candidate because they want to encourage a broad coalition. They created a Facebook page and Web site, calling students across the country to action. Axelbank said the response was overwhelming. The group launched a central organizing committee to flesh out the demands and plan the day of action.

In the rain, Sen. Bernie Sanders rallies Capitol workers over pay

WASHINGTON (AP) Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is rallying for an increase in pay for low-wage workers at his day-job workplace the Senate.
...
Some of the protesters work in the Senate and were taking the day to strike. One woman who works in a Senate cafeteria spoke in Spanish about not having enough money to buy medicine for her sick child.
Sanders, the Vermont independent, said the workers should make at least $15 an hour and have the right to unionize.
"There are a number of senators who get served by people right here," Sanders told the wet, cheering crowd. "They should know that if you are serving them, they have got to start serving you."
Warner Massey, an employee of a Senate contractor who cleans entranceways and bathrooms in the Capitol complex, said he makes $13.50 an hour but wants to make at least $15. Others he works with make less.
"This is really crazy because of the simple fact that we work for millionaires," Massey said. "These guys are millionaires, they make the laws, they make the rules and regulations. So why is it so hard for us to get just $15 and be part of a union?"

#Fightfor15 going STRONG all over the US today
People are out in force.
Bernie is speaking at the #Fightfor15 rally in Washington, DC
Twitter is going strong for him, for racial justice, for economic justice, for immigrant justice.
Hillary's absence is much noted. So are her past record and current records though she did send out a lame tweet that caused much mockery.
And best of all for me as an activist, Bernie supporters are everywhere wearing their Bernie pins and reaching out to a very receptive and enthusiastic crowd.
It's a very good day for Bernie.
I won't be posting much today due to #Fightfor15 but it's a great Bernie kind of day!
