They are part of the cover up

One of my senators, The Dishonorable John Cornyn, is quoted as having said the impeachment is “insane” in the Dallas Morning News (I will admit to not having read the piece).

Cornyn must be spending some time this morning working on getting the egg off his face.

Of course, they’ll circle the wagons ever more tightly and refuse to listen.

Anybody shocked?

The question at this point is—does Trump ever tell the truth?

He utterly unfit for the office he holds.

This level of complete corruption is mind boggling.

Trump is THE SWAMP.

Isn't that also illegal?

The Republic has already been lost

Things now come down to who has the power to enforce their will.

Recall what Stalin said about the Pope, “How many divisions does the Pope have?” (This may be a misattribution).

If you’re dealing with men and women of bad faith then only force will ensure their compliance.

Our system is not designed that way. Their is a core assumption built into our Constitution—that those in government and bureaucracy are men and women of honor and good faith.

How naive and antiquated. Our republic died the day the Bush v Gore decision was handed down. It continues its slow death today but at an accelerated pace.

That which was implicit has now become explicit. The fabric of government is infested with those who hold the ideals of the Constitution in contempt.

Simplistic nonsense

The first part is complete bullshit.

The part on the stock market sounds great to the fantastically wealthy. They can make serious money with their huge investments.

If your investment in stocks is in your 401K (or your 409K according to the orange maggot) you’re probably like me...little of this market run up is getting to it.

One of my accounts is close to flatlining and the other is going up and down in a narrow range. In both cases, the gains are modest and sometimes ephemeral.

I’m up, but not by all that much.

My big gains were during the Obama years.

Self styled "liberal democrat"

Alan Dershowitz claims to be “liberal” Democrat. He uses this as a defense against accusations that he is totally a Trump creature.

What evidence is there to support this contention or is it as fictional as his reputation as a “constitutional scholar”?

Poor grasp of the law

These folks (many of them lawyers) seem to have forgotten some basic legal principles.

Disagree

Read through the message thread. Initial official communication claimed dog was unleashed—which tells me that there was an awareness that shooting a leashed dog would be pretty unacceptable. Then when the photo of the dog’s cadaver clearly shows the dog is still wearing said leash the story had to be changed.

I’m seeing strong evidence of another trigger happy, shoot first, ask questions later LEO. Albeit a federal one.

I think this story is yet another highlight of the problems inherent with having any group of people having a license to kill.
