I'll be staying in the hospital 'til Monday as the Rehab Center just doesn't hab rehab over the
weekend. I'm definitely going there Monday, though.

Care and staff are great at both places, so without the therapy, the question of WHERE I am
is kinda moot -- tho the room service is better here... and they do have all-you-can-drink

I am gaining strength. I was pretty damned beat up by my A-fib -- so weak I literally
couldn't undress because I was pretty sure I wouldn't have the strength to put my
clothes back on.

That's my story, officer... and I'm sticking with it!!!!!

They've adjusted my meds, added back the one that nobody can see any sense in
taking away in the first place (probably the main source of my troubles) and changes
some dosages and stuffs.
.
I'm feeling pretty good -- even better day by day. The med team is done with me and
they were going to send me home. I feel EXACTLY like I did two weeks ago when I tried
to talk them out of that. And here I am. I fought HARD this time and they got on the
case -- making a serious effort to get me followup INpatient rehab care.
.
There's EXCELLENT folks here at all levels at UMC. Talked to a Physical Therapist, an
Occupational Therapist, a Social Worker and a Case Manager. I am going to be going
back to that AMAZING Cardiac Rehab Center that I was at after my initial surgery for
as long as it takes to regain truly reasonable strength and health.

brothers in my fambly that have lived charmed lives.
