Cue Irony: ‘Duck Dynasty’ creator Scott Gurney starred in indie ‘gay porn’ film

The producer and creator of the A&E show “Duck Dynasty” once starred in a dark, homoerotic indie film about the gay porn industry called “The Fluffer.”

BuzzFeed reported Friday that in 2001, Scott Gurney played a “gay-for-pay” meth addict who acts in erotic videos. The film premiered that year at the Toronto Film Festival.

“The Fluffer” revolved around the destructive relationship between Gurney’s character and a gay college student — played by Michael Cunio — employed to keep Gurney aroused on set during filming.

For now, noted BuzzFeed reporter Kate Arthur, the film remains proudly displayed on Gurney’s IMDB page.

Had my Hip replaced, and they are making me walk.

Lot of pain. But am looking at being able to do Kendo in a few months.

The Painkillers are wonderful.

When did white trash become normal?

Just saw Duck Dynasty's comments. A book from, of all people a conservative commentator.

When Snooki, whose talents include getting sloppy drunk and throwing up on camera, made Barbara Walters’ “Ten Most Fascinating People” list a few years back, one could only ask: Was Octomom not available?

Last year, “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” which features a cornucopia of social ills, was TLC’s highest-rated show, attracting more cable viewers than the Republican National Convention, which had the misfortune to share the time slot with the charmers from Georgia. The show’s matriarch, June Shannon, has four daughters by four men, one of whose names she can’t recall.

White Trash is the new normal — and you don’t have to tune in to reality TV to rub elbows with pathologies that once stayed put in Skunk Hollow. White Trash Normal has invaded every nook and cranny of life, from table manners, to dress, to money management.

Remember when bouncing a check was shameful? Now apparently it’s shameful for banks to charge overdraft fees.

Bangkok-based firm to build bicycle that eats pollution and spits out oxygen

Pollution levels in China’s largest cities are literally off the index scale, and breathing the air for just one day is akin to smoking an entire pack of cigarettes. Quick and clever solutions will be needed to not just reduce emissions, but scrub the putrid air as well, and that’s where this air-cleaning bicycle concept comes in.

A handlebar-mounted filter would filter the dirty air passing through it, blasting clean air into the face of the rider and the world behind him. It is a literal wake of fresh air following the biker down the road, and would certainly be welcome in Beijing’s filthy skyline. The frame of the bike gets in on the action as well, photosynthesizing sunlight to provide energy to a fuel-cell powering an electric-assist motor. E-bikes are insanely popular in China, and they’re catching on in other places too. Add in the extra benefit of clean air, and buyers are bound to lineup in places with air quality issues.

The unnamed concept bicycle is still just in the “idea and sketch” phase, though Bangkok-based Lightfog Creative and Design hopes to build a working model soon. Who knows, you may even ride one on smog-eating pavement some day. It’s probably a bit ahead of its time, though if places like China don’t soon clean up their act, air-scrubbing vehicles might become a vital necessithttp://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/12/15/bangkok-based-firm-to-build-bicycle-that-eats-pollution-and-spits-out-oxygen/y in future cities.

Fox News Presents: It's a Wonderful Life

Can't wait to see the Fox News version of the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol.
Bob Cratchit is a lazy mooch and Tiny Tim a malingering slacker trying to defraud Medicaid.
And if Scrooge were to give Cratchit a raise to a living wage Tiny Tim would never be able to get a job in a sweat shop to learn a trade!

You can imagine what Scrooge's conversations with the ghost of Marley and the others would sound like if FOX got its hands on it.

Dicken's wrote the "Christmas Carol" as an indictment of "industrial capitalism" in 1843. He came from a well to do family but when his father was imprisoned he was forced to sell his things and work in a sweatshop. Later he was to be moved by the plight of the children of the poor who were forced to work in the Cornish coal mines.

Five years after the publication of Dicken's book in 1843... came the "Revolution of 1848" that swept through all of Europe and most notably brought down the French monarchy with the loss of their heads.
